The Feast of Trumpets | Yom Teruah
- The Feast of Trumpets is like a Loud Shout Coming from Heaven -
- This year the Feast of Trumpets begins in the evening of Wednesday October 2nd and ends at sundown on Thursday October 3rd -
The Feast of Trumpets on the Almighty’s calendar is the appointed season for us to come prayerfully before His holy presence with a “humble repentant heart that trembles at His word” (see Isaiah 66:2). The Spirit of truth is getting our attention, sounding like a loud shofar [trumpet] blast, alerting us to take our focus off this perishing world and place it upon the Most High God who requires loving obedience to His Word and Commandments.
The three concluding biblical Holy Days beginning with the Feast of Trumpets point to the conclusion of the age. During this season there is a heightened awareness and urgency for the need of repentance. Prophecy is quickly being fulfilled; we are witnessing the rapid succession of diverse judgments. Scripture tells us that this end time scenario will become more fierce, dramatic, and perilous as these judgments continue as “birth pains” coming closer and closer, faster and faster together, as we approach the end of this present world, as we know it (Matthew 24:8). Yahshua (Jesus) said, "But when these things begin to take place, straighten up [repent and turn to righteousness] and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near … Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:28,36).
Our God and Savior’s voice is like a “loud heavenly trumpet”/shofar blast, urgently getting the attention of “those who have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying” in these last hours (Revelation 1:10, 2:7-3:22). The Almighty commissions His prophets and obedient servants, “Cry loudly, do not hold back; Raise your voice like a trumpet/shofar, and declare to My people their transgression … their sins!” (Isaiah 58:1) The Feast of Trumpets is as a Loud Shofar and Shout from heaven beseeching the listening heart to, “Repent and turn from all disobedience and sin to escape the coming judgments. The shofar is waking us up and calling us upward. It is high time to wholeheartedly turn to the Holy God and Redeemer who says, “Be holy, for I am holy” “without holiness no one will see the Lord” (1 Peter 1:16, Hebrews 12:14).
It’s Midnight, time is running out! We must “work out our salvation with fear and trembling”, “making every effort to be found at peace with Him without spot or blemish”, with our sins repented for and covered in our Savior’s atoning blood. “How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation?” It is divinely decreed that “we must all appear before the judgment seat of Messiah [Christ], so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.” "Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man [Yahshua/Jesus] whom He has appointed …” (Philippians 2:12, 2 Peter 3:14, Hebrews 2:3, 2 Corinthians 5:10, Acts 17:30-31).
In the book of Revelation, Apostle John heard our Savior’s voice that “sounded like a trumpet/shofar” proclaiming, "Come up here, and I will show you what must take place … " (Revelation 1:10, 4:1). We are seeing these prophesied judgments beginning to fall, magnifying the reality that the conclusion of the age is upon us. In essence, our Savior is loudly expressing His urgent heart cry of passionate love for His redeemed remnant, “Repent and flee from your old sin nature and worldly desires. Don’t go back to sin and don’t look back to the world, both are under judgment. “Come out of her My people”, I don’t want you to share in the sins of the worldly (Revelation 18:4). Get your affections off this doomed world and wholeheartedly follow Me out of harm’s way. I redeemed you to be a holy people as “a bride who has made herself ready”, waiting for that last great shofar sound (Revelation 19:7). As it is written, “… Yahshua (Jesus) Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Messiah will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:16).
We are to have our ears pinned on the voice of our God and Savior who speaks to us through His Word and Commandments. The Spirit of truth will lead us to obedience, “through the narrow gate … because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matthew 7:13-14). At the end of the book of Revelation Yahshua (Jesus) said, “Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy" (Revelation 22:11). Let us hear this shofar calling us to repent of the “sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Yahshua (Jesus), the author and perfecter of our faith” (Hebrews 12:1,2). He alone will lead us victoriously out of this world and our sinful nature, into His glorious holy presence and eternal kingdom. “Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Messiah”, over our flesh, sin, and the world (2 Corinthians 2:14). To Him be all praise, honor, and glory now and forever!
Introduction Prayer
Yahshua (Jesus),
I ask Your Holy Spirit to separate me from the common things of this passing world and the cares and preoccupations of my brief natural life. Please give me ears to hear and a faithful heart that humbly responds with repentance to the convicting power of Your Spirit of truth. May I not be dull or resistant to Your voice calling me to repentance. Your Word says, “Now is the day of salvation, if I hear Your voice I am not to harden my heart”. Forgive me for the many times that I have had a hard heart toward You. Oh my God, may I not continue to fall into that category! I know that I will appear before Your judgment seat and I do not want to be ashamed and displeasing in Your sight. I want my ears opened and my heart filled with love to respond to Your Word speaking as a loud trumpet to keep me awake and obedient. I ask You to forgive me for straying and swerving from that narrow path that leads into Your kingdom. Yahshua (Jesus) thank you for Your unfailing love to forgive and cleanse me with Your atoning blood every time I repent of my many sins that ensnare me. Thank You for hearing my prayer and helping me to be found faithful and obedient as I diligently prepare to be found blameless and holy in Your sight. I surrender my life to You and trust You to help me get ready and be eagerly waiting for that last trumpet blast when You call Your elect to be with You in Your righteous kingdom. To You be the glory, great things You have done, and will continue to do! Amen.
The Seven Biblical Feasts
- A symbolic picture of the redemptive plan of our Messiah -
The Lord Yahveh said, 'My appointed times are … holy convocations which you shall proclaim at the times appointed for them” (Leviticus 23:2,4). Yahshua (Jesus) the Messiah is the fulfillment of every detail of all the biblically ordained feasts —even to the exact hour of the exact day. The spring feasts were fulfilled with precision on His Father’s perfect timetable, the scriptural calendar. Our Savior’s death and resurrection were the fulfillment of the holy Feast of Passover/Unleavened Bread and the Feast of Firstfruits. The Feast of Weeks (Pentecost) was fulfilled precisely on divine schedule when Yahshua (Jesus) poured out His Holy Spirit at Jerusalem exactly fifty days after the Feast of Firstfruits (His resurrection) (Leviticus 23:15-22, Acts 2:1-4).
During the time of the Feast of Weeks, as the Jews from all nations were gathered at the temple in Jerusalem, three thousand of our Savior’s Jewish brethren came to salvation through repentance and accepting Yahshua (Jesus) as their long awaited Messiah. The time in between the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost) and the concluding fall feasts beginning with the Feast of Trumpets is the season of the summer harvest. This has been the extended time when the Jewish Messiah mercifully included believing faith filled Gentiles to become one with redeemed Israel. This prophesied gracious inclusiveness of the Gentiles is what Apostle Paul describes in Ephesians 2:14-15, “For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, … so as to create in Himself one new man from the two [Jew and Gentile].” We have been in a long summer harvest with multitudes of believing Gentiles coming into faith in the Jewish Messiah through the same mercy and grace that came in divine order to the Jews first (see Romans 1:16).
The Fall Feasts will soon be fulfilled by Yahshua (Jesus) with the same accuracy as the Spring Feasts. These Seven Feasts of Israel are a symbolic picture of the entire redemptive plan of our Messiah, who fills them full of meaning in that they point specifically to Him. Those who study and understand the biblical Holy Days, will find them to be a beautiful portrait of our Savior and holy road map clearly defining the straight and narrow path by which to follow Him out of this doomed world, the sinful flesh, and ultimately leading us victoriously into His eternal kingdom.
The Overview of the Fall Feasts
The seventh month on the Hebrew lunar calendar is the month of Tishri, which falls between September and October depending on the year. The three concluding Fall Feasts all occur in this seventh month. Seven is the number of divine perfection. Each of these fall feasts is interlinked together: the Feast of Trumpets, also known as Rosh Hashanah, powerfully alerts us to the urgent need of “godly sorrow that brings true repentance” (Leviticus 23:24, 2 Corinthians 7:10). REPENTANCE leads to REDEMPTION magnified through the next Holy Day, Yom Kippur - the Day of Atonement, the covering and removal of our repentant sins in the blood of the sacrifice (Leviticus 23:26-32, Colossians 1:14). All seven biblical feasts point to the sacrificial altar magnifying Yahshua (Jesus) the Lamb of God who was slain for the forgiveness of our sins and redemption of our souls.
Only the REDEEMED remnant who are “working out their salvation with fear and trembling” will be eternal partakers of the prophetic fulfillment of the last great feast called the Feast of TABERNACLES and the Feast of GREAT REJOICING (Philippians 2:12, Leviticus 23:39-43). The last great day of this feast points to the GREATEST REJOICING of all at the “wedding supper of the Lamb”, the long awaited marriage of the redeemed faith filled remnant, Jew and Gentile, the holy Bride eternally united with their Bridegroom and Savior. “HalleluYah! For the Lord Yahveh our God the Almighty reigns. LET US REJOICE and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His Bride has made herself ready; it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”—for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints” (Revelation 19:6b-8).
It is written, “And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the TABERNACLE OF YAHVEH GOD IS AMONG MEN, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, … (Revelation 21:2-3).
Yahshua (Jesus) is “the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End” (Revelation 22:13, Isaiah 44:6). He is the Passover Lamb who fulfilled all the feasts by dying to redeem a remnant out of this dark world and the flesh’s sin nature. The congregation of the righteous remnant is cleansed in His blood made holy and acceptable as a bride eagerly waiting her righteous Bridegroom and His holy kingdom. The Holy Spirit like a shofar is loudly proclaiming, “Repent! Repent! Repent! The kingdom of heaven is at hand”(see Matthew 3:2). At this late hour the most important question is: Will you be there? Are you getting ready? Is Yahshua (Jesus) the utmost desire of your heart, compelling you to continually repent and be washed in His blood and clothed in His righteousness? Are you diligently “working out your salvation” to be freed from the contaminants of the world, your flesh, and your sin nature in order to be adorned in pure spiritual “wedding garments” befitting our coming holy Bridegroom King? (Philippians 2:12, Revelation 19:7-8)
The shofar, the heavenly trumpet is sounding! We are at the end of the age and the fulfillment of these fall feasts is upon us with outpoured judgments from a holy “jealous God” who will consume His enemies with His righteous indignation and “consuming fire” (Exodus 34:14, Hebrews 12:29). “Therefore, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God” (2 Corinthians 7:1). “As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, “YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY.” “For without holiness no one will see the Lord” (1 Peter 1:14, Hebrews 12:14).
Yahveh Yireh Provided the Substitute
The first of the Fall Feasts begins in the seventh month on the biblical calendar. This month is called Tishri, and occurs in September or October on the world’s calendar. The Feast of Trumpets, also called Rosh Hashanah, begins on the first day of Tishri. It is written, 'In the seventh month on the first of the month you shall have a rest, a reminder by blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation” (Leviticus 23:24). This is all that was said regarding the Feasts of Trumpets. What is Yahveh God Almighty alluding to in this brief description of this important Holy Day? He wants something memorialized to remind us of the powerful symbolism that the trumpet/shofar ram’s horn points to.
Let’s look at a significant event hundreds of years prior to the giving of these proclaimed biblical feast days. Abraham, in loving obedience to the Most High God, placed his beloved son Isaac as a sacrifice on the altar at Mount Moriah. He had great faith to wholeheartedly believe that the Almighty would resurrect his son from the dead. Yahveh God in mercy gave a substitute for Isaac; a ram was caught in the nearby thicket by his horns (Genesis 22:9-13, Hebrews 11:19). The ram’s horn, often referred to in the Scripture as a trumpet, was a reminder of the Holy God’s grace and mercy to provide a sacrifice. Mount Moriah, is where the Almighty manifested His grace to Abraham’s faithful obedience by bringing forth the substitute of a ram. MoriYAH in Hebrew means the manifestation of YAHveh.
From that miraculously given substitute, the Holy One of Israel was also referred to as “Yahveh Yireh”-“Yahveh will provide” (Genesis 22:14). Abraham putting His son on the altar was a prophetic preview of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who “so loved the world that He gave [provided] His only begotten Son” Yahshua (Jesus) as the ultimate substitute for us. It is written, “God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Messiah died for us” (John 3:16, Romans 5:8). The Almighty’s prophetic plan is understood more clearly when the shofar sounds reminding us of His utmost grace and mercy to give His Son as a substitute for us. His mercy covered our repentant sins in His blood, sparing us from death, as Isaac was spared by the ram whose horns were caught in the thicket (Romans 7:14-25). Also as a reminder, our Savior is the Lamb of God who fulfills all the feasts beginning as the Passover Lamb, whose blood covering our hearts spares us from “the angel of death” (Exodus 12:23). Yahshua Messiah said to those whose sins are continually repented for, covered in His blood, and obedient to do His will, "Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he will never see death" (John 8:51).
It is noteworthy that Mount Moriah, in the time of King David and Solomon, became the site of the temple, “a house for the Name of Yahveh, the God of Israel” in Jerusalem (2 Chronicles 6:6-10.) It was instituted as the one place on earth where acceptable substitutionary sacrifices could be offered and where His glorious presence would dwell amongst His people. The Holy One of Israel established the sacrificial system for His chosen people that through the shedding of the blood of the sacrificial animals, their sins would be forgiven and they would not suffer the penalty of eternal death. It is written, 'For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement' and “Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness” of sin (Leviticus 17:11, Hebrews 9:22).
Our Savior’s Life Sacrificed for Ours
Many “Christians” erroneously believe, “the Old Testament is not a book of grace and mercy.” On the contrary, the substitutionary sacrificial system is the ultimate expression of the love, mercy, and grace of the Almighty. Our Creator and Heavenly Father loved us so much that He could not bear being separated from His children, as He was from Adam and Eve, because of sin. He instituted the sacrificial system with His “first born” children of Israel, knowing that sin was inevitable because of man’s inherited fallen nature and therefore required a substitute in their place (Exodus 4:22). As Almighty God was Yahveh Yireh-the Provider of the sacrifice to Abraham and Isaac, so He became Yahveh Yireh, the provider of the sacrifice for the children of Israel to have their sins covered in the sacrificial blood to avert eternal judgment. Our God’s ultimate manifestation as Yahveh Yireh was through His faithfulness to provide His “only begotten Son,” “the Lamb of God”, who “offered one sacrifice for sins for all time … For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified” (John 3:16, 1:29, Hebrews 10:12-14).
Through this underserved divine exchange of our Savior’s life for ours, His Jewish brethren, who believed in Him and His atoning sacrifice, became the first supernatural “born again” spiritual “new creations” (John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17). With this also came a “mystery revealed” that through Messiah’s sacrifice all believing Gentiles, whose repentant sins are covered in His blood, would become one with redeemed Israel. “Saul, also called Paul”, speaks of this mystery, to be specific as it is written, “that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body [of Messiah], and fellow partakers of the promise in Messiah Yahshua [Christ Jesus] through the gospel” (Acts 13:9, Ephesians 3:6). The redeemed righteous remnant of Jews and Gentiles would be equal heirs in the one spiritual body of our Savior and biblically called “one new man” (Ephesians 2:14-15). It was the God of Israel’s doing that He would make available to all mankind Israel’s long awaited Messiah. It is written, “Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people!” (Romans 15:10) HalleluYAH! Which in Hebrew means Praise be to – YAHveh!
For those whose are truly spiritually “born again” through faith in the Messiah, the indwelling Holy Spirit is as a shofar that is sounding to continually “convict us of sin, God’s righteousness, and judgment that is coming” (John 3:3, 16:8). Wholehearted repentance brings our focus and attention to the lovingkindness and mercy of the Most High God who gave the sacrifice of His very own Son, whose blood cleanses our humble repentant hearts of “sin that separates” us from His holy presence (Isaiah 59:2). True repentance is not only a confession of sin from your lips, it is a complete turning away from the sin back to the Holy God and not continuing in that sin again. True repentance in Hebrew is the word teshuva and it is two fold in order to be complete in the sight of Almighty. It is repentance followed by turning away from sin and returning to the Holy God in surrendered loving obedience. This is why Yahshua (Jesus) said, “Your sins are forgiven, but go, and sin no more” (see John 8:11). On the Feast of Trumpets the ram’s horn is brought forth and sounded as a powerful reminder that the Almighty has given His Son, who sacrificed His blood in our place, to cover and remove our repentant sins, in order to avert judgment and eternal death.
In these last days the symbolic sound of the shofar, like a loud shout, is coming from the God of heaven. The glaring realities on earth serve as a loud wake up call that time is running out and we must repent and wholeheartedly return to the Holy God and Savior, before it is too late. The Spirit, like a shofar, is waking us up to “work out our salvation” while there is still time (Philippians 2:12). “Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war against [your redeemed] soul” (1 Peter 2:11). “Now is the day of salvation”, “Today if you hear His voice do not harden your heart” (2 Corinthians 6:2, Hebrews 3:15). Yahshua (Jesus) is getting our attention, we must stop going in the direction of this doomed world under judgment, being led by our unruly flesh and its sinful desires and inclinations. By our Savior’s substitutionary sacrifice, we are redeemed to come out of the world and be a distinctly separate and obedient, people, who bear Messiah’s righteous identity and glorify His Father by the power of His indwelling Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 6:17, James 4:4).
In summary, Yahveh Yireh provided our substitute and sacrifice. He gave His own Son, “the Lamb of God”, who died in our place, taking the punishment of our sins in His own body. Messiah spared us from eternal death writing our names in His Book of Life that we would live with Him eternally in the kingdom of heaven. After Yahshua (Jesus) was raised from the dead and ascended to His Father, He sent “the Helper, the Holy Spirit” to dwell within His redeemed, giving us the power and grace to live in surrendered loving obedience to His immutable Word and Commandments (John 14:26). The shofar, the ram’s horn is sounding, reminding us of all that Yahveh God’s love has done for us. Let us “behold the Lamb” and uphold and exalt His blood! “How will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation?” (John 1:29, Hebrews 2:3)
“If You Obey Me Fully”
- Exodus 19:5 -
On the Feast of Trumpets, the blowing of the shofar brings the listener’s remembrance to several momentous events that happened at Mount Sinai. These events are major foundational stones of biblical history, giving us added “light of revelation” to walk by in these dark times of impending judgments (Luke 2:32). To summarize the Exodus story, the Almighty appeared to Moses at the burning bush. There, He proclaimed His name saying, “I AM WHO I AM” … furthermore … “you shall say to the sons of Israel, [YHVH- YOD HEY VAV HEY]* ‘YAHVEH, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.' This is My name forever, and this is My memorial-name to all generations” (Exodus 3:1-15).
The Almighty sent Moses with a commission to proclaim His name, through powerful signs and wonders to Pharaoh and Egypt, on behalf of the children of Israel. He repeatedly demanded, to evil hearted Pharaoh, “Let My people go that they might serve Me.” This was Yahveh’s passionate heart cry and motive for His chosen people’s deliverance (Exodus 7:16, 8:1, 9:1,13). The GREAT I AM had delivered the children of Israel with astounding signs and wonders from Pharaoh in Egypt and brought them through the wilderness to the foot of Mount Sinai. The Holy One of Israel called Moses up to the top of the mountain and spoke to him words to proclaim to His chosen people (Exodus 19:1). The Almighty’s words to the “sons of Israel” were, ‘You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself. Now if you OBEY ME FULLY AND KEEP MY COVENANT then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession … you will be for Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation’ (Exodus 19:3-6). Apostle Peter used these same words to encourage the new covenant believers in Messiah, “you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation” (1 Peter 2:9). Israel responded, “All that Yahveh said we will do” (Exodus 19:8). Covenants, Old and New were and are, contingent upon the willingness to obey! Throughout the New Covenant Scriptures, it is clearly stated that obedience to God’s Commandments is always a prerequisite to truly reflect His holiness in our lives, words, and deeds for His deserved praise, honor, and glory.
The Mighty God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob has an everlasting love for His people Israel (Jeremiah 31:3). He wanted them free from the world and the “ruler of this world” (John 12:31). It is important to understand Moses was a preview of the ultimate deliverer, Yahshua (Jesus) the Messiah, Pharaoh was the prototype of Satan the “ruler of this world”, and Egypt is symbolic of the world (John 12:31). The Most High miraculously delivered them that they would worship, obey, and serve Him in holiness, “because holiness befits God” (Psalm 93:5). In Yahveh’s infinite love and masterful plan, His deliverance for His Jewish people was in order to proclaim His name and power as the One True living God throughout the earth (Exodus 9:16). His call and commission to Israel was, "YOU ARE MY WITNESSES [to the Gentile nations]," … "And My servant whom I have chosen … “Before Me there was no God formed, And there will be none after Me. "I, EVEN I, AM YAHVEH, AND THERE IS NO SAVIOR BESIDES ME'" (Isaiah 43:10-11). His merciful plan was for Israel to be His chosen vessels, to love and obey His commandments and reflect Him in their righteous obedience to the Gentile heathen nations. In mercy He longed for many Gentiles to forsake their foreign gods to worship Him, the Holy One of Israel.
Yahveh’s omnipotent love and mercy never stopped with the Jews. Let us rejoice as we read His passionate heart cry, "It is too small a thing … To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also make You [the coming Messiah] a light of the nations So that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth [the Gentiles]" (Isaiah 49:6). This was always in the heart of the Almighty; ultimately expressed when He came to earth as the Son/the Messiah, to bring “the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes [and obeys], to the Jew first and also to the Greek [Gentiles]” (Romans 1:16).
The preview of this was in the Old Testament, but now the fulfillment would come through the sacrificial atoning blood of the ultimate deliverer, the Jewish Messiah. For the God of Israel “so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,” who sacrificially poured out His life as the Lamb of God for the forgiveness of repentant sins (John 3:16). He died to make Jew and Gentile “one new man”, a spiritual “born again” “new creation”, heir’s to His eternal kingdom (Ephesians 2:14-15, John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17). Together by the power of the Holy Spirit, they would obey and glorify the Father and the Son in word and deed. The Master’s plan was that the redeemed remnant of Jews and Gentiles, as “one new man”, would now be His witnesses to the unredeemed world that Yahshua (Jesus) the Messiah is Yahveh God, the Holy One of Israel, who came to earth in the flesh, to be their eternal Savior (see Ephesians 2-3, Romans 9-11).
With the “light of revelation for the Gentiles”, they have the blessing of participating in the biblically appointed feasts and receiving the full promised blessing of meeting with Him on these feast days (Luke 2:32). These holy days, outlined in Leviticus 23, give us most helpful instruction for our spiritual walk on the “straight and narrow path” following Yahshua (Jesus) on “the Highway of Holiness” that leads to eternal life in His Righteous Kingdom(Matthew 7:14, Isaiah 35:8).
Reference
* The Almighty’s true and holy name, consisting of the Hebrew letters Yod Hey Vav Hey, appears approximately 7,000 times in the Old Testament. In recent times it is often referred to as the Tetragrammaton, a Greek word meaning “four letters.”
Many dictionaries render YAHveh (or YAHweh) as the accurate spelling and pronunciation of the original name of the Almighty. The Hebrew letter “vav” is represented in English by the letters “V” or “W.” However, Jewish scholarship leans towards the “V” as the ancient and correct representation of the letter “vav.” “Overwhelming scholarly opinion holds that YHVH [Yod Hey Vav Hey] was in Moses’ time pronounced Yahveh” (emphasis added) THE TORAH, A Modern Commentary (New York: Union of American Hebrew Congregation, 1981), p. 426
The Trumpet Blast on the Third Day
The Almighty gave Moses strict instructions to convey to His awestruck chosen nation: “Go to the people and CONSECRATE THEM today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments; and let them be READY FOR THE THIRD DAY, for on the third day Yahveh will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people. … WHEN THE RAM’S HORN SOUNDS a long blast, they shall come up to the mountain.” So Moses went down from the mountain … and consecrated the people, and they washed their garments. He said to the people, “BE READY FOR THE THIRD DAY” (Exodus 19:10-15).
This call to be cleansed and ready by the “third day” has vital prophetic significance for us, at the end of the age. Two thousand years have elapsed since the Messiah’s first coming. The apostle Peter wrote, “with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day” (2Peter 3:8). We are APPROACHING THE THIRD DAY. As Moses came down from Yahveh God’s presence to consecrate Israel and bring the people up the holy mountain, so too is Yahshua (Jesus) Messiah, the ultimate deliverer, is consecrating a repentant redeemed remnant to be holy and ready, listening for that last great trumpet/shofar blast, “when in the twinkling of an eye the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed” (1 Corinthians 15:52). Let us rejoice that Yahshua (Jesus) was raised on the third day. In the third thousandth year, there will be a massive resurrection at the sound of the last shofar. This is the promised “blessed hope” of resurrection at the end of the age, when all the redeemed Jews and Gentiles, the dead and those who are alive, will hear that glorious trumpet/heavenly shofar and will meet their Messiah who is calling them to ascend into His long awaited messianic kingdom (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).
Back to Mt Sinai, “So it came about on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunder and lightning flashes and a thick cloud upon the mountain and a very loud trumpet sound, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled. And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain” (Exodus 19:16-17). Mount Sinai quaked, it was enveloped in unfathomable flames of fire, dense smoke like a furnace, thunder sounding as the heights of heaven, and “the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder”. The King of the universe had come to the top of Mount Sinai with signs and wonders, magnifying the unimaginable reality that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob had come to dwell in their midst. Yahveh emphatically proclaimed to Moses, “Tell the people they must not force their way through to come up to Yahveh, or He will break out against them … and they will die.” In this fierce display of omnipotent power and glory, dread mightily fell on the children of Israel, causing immeasurable fear and trembling to humble them in His holy sight. “Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid; for God has come in order to test you, and in order that the fear of Him may remain with you, so that you may not sin" (Exodus 19:16-19,24, 20:20). “The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom”, and wisdom keeps us on the narrow path of righteousness that leads to the Promised Land, the eternal heavenly kingdom (Proverbs 9:10).
- Prayer for Consecreation -
Father in Heaven, Your Spirit, like a trumpet, is alerting me that the third day is truly upon us. I want to be consecrated and ready to ascend when that last trumpet calls Your redeemed to be with You eternally. Yahshua (Jesus) search my heart and convict me of all the hindering sins that keep me from walking in obedience to Your Word and Commandments. You redeemed me to be a treasured possession who lovingly obeys and yields to the Holy Spirit’s rulership over my life. I desire to know and love You with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind, and all my strength. I want to know Your will, do Your will, not my will or man’s. I pray to have a humble, surrendered, consecrated heart that seeks nothing for myself, but lives for You my beloved God and Savior.
I wholeheartedly desire an intimate relationship with You. Please forgive all the times that I confess You as my Lord and Savior, but my heart is still longing for the things that please my flesh, things of the world that are seen as idols to You and are under Your righteous judgments. Your Word says that You are a consuming fire, yet in mercy and love, You redeemed me to be purified by that holy fire so that I would not burn eternally. Thank you for the fear and awe of You that gives me wisdom. Please teach me to number my days to redeem the time for the days are evil. May I be ready, pure, and blameless when the last shofar/trumpet calls the righteous remnant into Your eternal presence.
I know that nothing short of holiness befits You, and I cannot push my way into Your Presence. I am humble and repent for my many sins and thank you for the covering of Your blood that forgives, cleanses, and consecrates me that I will be clothed in Your righteousness. You are calling me to come up higher, I choose to yield, submit, and obey because I love You because You loved me first and died for me to be one with You here and in eternity. Thank You Yahshua (Jesus) for answering my sincere heart cry. Amen
"The Covenant, the Ten Commandments"
After the miraculous exodus from Egypt, in the wilderness journey, Moses was called up to Mount Sinai in the presence of the Holy One of Israel who proclaimed “the covenant, the Ten Commandments”. It is very important to take note that in Exodus 34:28 and in Deuteronomy 4:13, The Most High clearly states that the covenant between Him and His people, is the Ten Commandments, requiring their loving obedience to His unchangeable decreed standards, that His glory and renown would be made known throughout the earth. The Ten Commandments were given to the world, through Moses, who spoke to Israel saying, …"You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of Yahveh your God which I command you … "So keep and do them, for that is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples [the Gentile nations] who will hear all these statutes [commandments] and say, 'Surely this great nation [Israel] is a wise and understanding people.' "For what great nation is there that has God so near to it as is Yahveh our God whenever we call on Him?” (Deuteronomy 4:2,6-7)
“You [Israel] are My witnesses [to the Gentile nations]. Is there any God besides Me … I know of none.’ ” … “I am the Lord Yahveh, and there is none else. “I have not spoken in secret, … I, Yahveh, speak righteousness, Declaring things that are upright. … Is it not I, Yahveh? And there is no other God besides Me, A righteous God and a Savior; There is none except Me. “Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth [all Gentiles]; For I am God, and there is no other. “I have sworn by Myself, The word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness … every tongue will swear allegiance. “They will say of Me, ‘Only in Yahveh are righteousness and strength’ (Isaiah 44:8, 45:18-19,21-24).
Breaking His righteous commandments is sin, “which separate us from a holy God” (see Isaiah 59:2). These decreed commandments are His covenant for both Jew and Gentile alike who confess and love Him as their God and Savior. Although the first covenant, written on stone, was given to the Jews, the second covenant written upon their heart and on their mind extended the God of Israel’s love to include the Gentiles, who together through faith become “one new man” in Yahshua (Jesus) (Hebrews 10:16, Ephesians 2:14-15). The first covenant written on stone became the new covenant, not by a change in content, but a change in the place where it was written. The Almighty prophesied of this through Jeremiah and it was restated in the book of Hebrews, making it very clear where His covenant, His Ten Commandments, would ultimately be written. "Behold, days are coming," declares the Lord Yahveh, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel [and all redeemed Gentiles through faith in Messiah’s atoning sacrifice], … "I will put My law [commandments] within them and on their heart [and mind] I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people” (Jeremiah 31:31,33, Hebrews 10:16).
To reemphasize, the Old Covenant was written on tablets of stone, but the New Covenant, through our Savior’s “once and for all sacrifice”, is written on the hearts and minds of all redeemed. By the indwelling Holy Spirit’s power we have the grace to uphold the commandments, so that we do not sin against Him. It is written, “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Messiah Yahshua [Christ Jesus], who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds” (Hebrews 10:10, Titus 2:11-14).
“It is written, “Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness [keeping the commandments] is righteous, just as He is righteous; the one who practices sin [habitually breaking the commandments] is of the devil … The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. No one who is born of God [habitually] practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God” (1 John 3:7-9). This is why our Messiah came to earth, to die for our sins, to make us a “new spiritual born again creation” filled with His Holy Spirit (John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17). His Father, the Holy One of Israel’s desire, “to the Jews first and then to the Gentiles”, was to have a “chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s possession, so that they may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called them out of darkness into His marvelous light” (Romans 1:16, 1Peter 2:9). “Let no one deceive you with empty words … the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience” for breaking the commandments. “For you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in Yahshua (Jesus); walk as children of Light (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth), trying to learn what is pleasing to Yahveh. In this season of the Fall Feasts, the shofar is blasting as a loud shout, an urgent WAKE UP CALL proclaiming, “Awake, sleeper! … Be careful how you walk … because the days are evil! It is time to wholeheartedly repent, return to righteousness and never go back to the breaking of the holy Covenant, the Ten Commandments. Judgment is already falling; it is coming on all unrighteousness. Repentance for sin is required to avert judgment by the covering of our sins in the blood of Yahshua (Jesus) who says, “Your sins are forgiven but Go, and sin no more” (Ephesians 5:6, 8-10, John 8:11). Everyone who professes to know and love our God and Savior must uphold the blood of the covenant, being very careful to keep the holy commandments by the grace and power of His indwelling Holy Spirit.
Keep His Commandments-Remain in His Love
The all-powerful “Lawgiver and Judge who is able to save and destroy is coming!” (James 4:12) "Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed …” Acts 17:30-31). It is written, “Worship the Lord Yahveh in holy attire; Tremble before Him, all the earth. “He is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness,” the holy standards of His Ten Commandments (Psalm 96:9,13). Utmost obedience is required. It is written, “We must all appear before the judgment seat of Messiah [Christ], so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good [according to the commandments] or bad [rebellious flesh breaking His commandments]” (2 Corinthians 5:10).
Yahshua (Jesus) is the Living Word, He upheld every one of His Father’s commandments. He never nullified them! (see Matthew 5:17). It is repeatedly written, “The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.” Yahshua (Jesus) proclaimed, “If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and remain in His love” (1 John 2:4-6, John 15:10). Our Messiah said, “If you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.” “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome (Matthew 19:17, 1 John 5:3). He made it repeatedly clear regarding the trials and tribulations His holy people would have to endure during these prophesied end times, He said, “this calls for perseverance on the part of the saints [the holy ones], those who obey the commandments of Yahveh God and hold to the testimony of Yahshua (Jesus)” (Revelation 14:12, 19:17).
On these fall feasts, beginning with the Feast of Trumpets, the voice of the Holy Spirit, like a shofar blast from heaven, keeps growing louder and louder proclaiming, “Repent, Repent, Repent!” May He get our wholehearted attention that we will be “humble and contrite and tremble at His word” (Isaiah 66:2). Those who have an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying will humbly respond to the symbolic shofar blast that is bringing “conviction of sin, His righteousness, and judgments to come” for the breaking of His Commandments (John 16:8).
Our Almighty God and Redeemer is trying to get the attention of all those, who profess to know and love Him. Yahshua (Jesus) is emphatically warning, like a loud shofar blast, proclaiming, "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 7:21). His indisputable Ten Commandments are the expression of His perfect will. "Blessed are they that do His commandments [and repent for the sin of breaking them and wash their robes in the atoning blood of the Lamb], that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city”, which is the long awaited messianic kingdom of heaven (Revelation 22:14).
Judgments from the throne room
REPENT AND TURN TO RIGHTEOUSNESS!
Behold, “the Name of the LORD YAHVEH comes from afar, with burning anger and dense clouds of smoke; His lips are full of wrath, and His tongue is a consuming fire” (Isaiah 30:27). “… Yahveh abides forever; He has established His throne for judgment And He will judge the world in righteousness; He will execute judgment for the peoples with equity. The Lord Yahveh also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, A stronghold in times of trouble; And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You, O Yahveh, have not forsaken those who seek You” (Psalm 9:7-10).
John the revelator, who had witnessed the onset of the age of grace, through Yahshua (Jesus) the Lamb, was given a panoramic vision of its cataclysmic end. He was shown the heavens opening up, revealing the tabernacle with Yahveh’s ark. The “ark of the covenant” housing the holy Ten Commandments, Yahveh’s throne and mercy seat, had now become a place of judgment. “And the temple of Yahveh, which is in heaven was opened; and the ark of His covenant appeared in His temple, and there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder and an earthquake and a great hailstorm (Revelation 11:19). — “… the temple of the tabernacle of testimony in heaven was opened, and the seven angels who had the seven plagues came out of the temple, … one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of Yahveh, … and no one was able to enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were finished” (Revelation 15:5-8). The age of grace and mercy, through which Jews and Gentiles could approach the Almighty’s throne, through the blood of the Lamb, had come to an end. The dramatic display at the giving of the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai was now surpassed by the awesome display of Yahveh’s forthcoming wrath from His ark. His commandments within the ark, His “plumb line” of truth, would now become a “plumb line” of flashing judgments stretched out over the defiled earth and the disobedient hearts of men (see Isaiah 28:16-17, Amos 7:7-8).
The righteousness of His Name and Commandments will bring the power of His righteous indignation and divine judgments. At this time, no one will be able to approach the Almighty’s mercy seat, the ark, for in His sovereignty, He will cleanse the earth of all defilement in order to establish His eternal, righteous kingdom. This is the blessed hope only for the righteous remnant who fully “obey God’s commandments and hold fast to the testimony of Yahshua (Jesus)” (Revelation 12:17, 14:12). Isaiah prophesied of this most sorrowful day: “The earth is also polluted by its inhabitants, for they transgressed laws, broke the everlasting covenant [the Ten Commandments]… . Therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men are left” (Exodus 34:28, Deuteronomy 4:13, Isaiah 24:5-6).
The Most High God’s mercy will find ultimate fulfillment in cleansing the earth of everyone who has “trampled the Lamb’s [Yahshua's/Jesus's] blood of the covenant under-foot and insulted the Spirit of grace." The LORD YAHVEH will judge His people. It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God" (see Hebrews 10:29-31). The ark of the covenant, which had been the seat of the Lamb’s mercy and forgiveness, will become the seat of the Lion of the tribe of Judah’s vengeance and wrath. His sovereign omnipotent judgments will pour out upon the whole earth, including man’s tainted religious systems. Many professing, yet superficial “lukewarm” believers will encounter the “Wrathful Lion” and not the “Loving Lamb”. He will come forth in unimaginable fury to uphold the glory and honor of Yahveh’s holy memorial-name and righteous commandments, His covenant (Revelation 3:16).
It is written, “It is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel, the good news, of Yahshua (Jesus)? And if it is with difficulty that the righteous is saved, what will become of the godless man and the sinner? Therefore, let those also who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right [His commandments- His decrees, not religion’s traditions]” (1Peter 4:17-19). Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day [the third day], in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man [Yahshua/Jesus] whom He has appointed, …” (Acts 17:30-31). The plagues of the angels sent forth from the tabernacle in heaven are the ultimate fulfillment of the curses spoken to the Israelites who disobeyed His word. “If you are not careful to observe all the words of this law [the covenant, the Ten Commandments], which are written in this book, to fear this honored and awesome name, Yahveh your God, then Yahveh will bring extraordinary plagues on you and your descendants, … you shall be left few in number, … because you did not obey Yahveh your God” (Deuteronomy 28:58-62). You must be very careful, and “take heed that no one deceives you” (Matthew 24:4). The enemy of your soul “is raging”. Satan and His demonic cohorts are sending every kind of deceptive strategy and snare to keep you from fully obeying the Holy One and being a recipient of His promised eternal blessings, reserved for the righteous (Revelation 12:12).
“There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism. … For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law [commandments] who will be declared righteous” (Romans 2:9-11,13). Our Heavenly Father speaks words of comfort and hope to His children, the righteous redeemed remnant, because they reverence His holiness and continually repent of their sins and are consecrated in His Son’s blood. They follow in the footsteps of their beloved Messiah who always walked in wholehearted obedience to His Father’s covenant, the Ten Commandments (Matthew 5:17, Exodus 34:28, Deuteronomy 4:13).
Concerning the dreadful day of the Almighty’s judgments, His Word says, “Say to the righteous that it will go well with them, …” (Isaiah 3:10). The righteous are the ones who are continually hearing the Holy Spirit, sounding like a shofar bringing conviction of sin, causing them to repent and faithfully walk in the light of the Truth. They are cleansed in the Lamb's blood, judgment is averted, and they walk in wholehearted obedience to His covenant, the Ten Commandments. Yahshua (Jesus) is the Light and He has set them free to follow Him out of this doomed world and it’s judgments, into His eternal glorious kingdom! "To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever!" (Revelation 5:13)
The Shofar Sounds of Victory for the Enduring Saints
“Who understands the power of Your anger and Your fury, according to the fear that is due You?” (Psalm 90:11). “For a cup is in the hand of the Lord Yahveh, and the wine foams; It is well mixed, and He pours out of this; Surely all the wicked of the earth must drain and drink down its dregs” (Psalm 75:8). The cup of the Almighty’s wrath is mixed in full strength in “the cup of His anger” (Revelation 14:10). “Our God is a consuming fire” who is fuming with righteous indignation against humanity’s pride, arrogance, rebellion, and blasphemy (Hebrews 12:29). He will destroy all who despise Him, His covenant, His holy commandments, and His obedient redeemed people. Yahveh God is the Great Lawgiver and Judge, whose divine justice is foaming with unimaginable fury, soon to overflow its brim, falling upon the inhabitants of the earth who are in rebellion and at war against His sovereign holy rulership.
A mighty angel is crying out loudly over the entire earth at the end of the age, "Fear Yahveh God, and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; worship Him who made the heaven and the earth and sea and springs of waters" (Revelation 14:7). Our loving God and Messiah is giving added grace and overcoming power to His righteous redeemed. He knows what is coming and how much will be required for those who are “called and chosen, and faithful” in the face of great suffering, persecution, and even martyrdom (Revelation 17:14). It is written, “The dragon Satan, will make war with God’s children, the holy ones “who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Yahshua (Jesus)” (Revelation 12:17, 14:12). It is important to take note that this righteous remnant, “the saints”, are those that keep both the commandments of the Most High God and the testimony of Yahshua (Jesus). These are the ones that Satan hates and persecutes, because they will only worship, obey, and serve the true Messiah and will not bow their knee to the Enemy or any other god. "And they overcame him [Satan] because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. For this reason, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time" (Revelation 12:11-12).
Those who endure victoriously in suffering with and for their Savior, will be singing the song of the Lamb, “Great and marvelous are Your works, O Yahveh God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations! “Who will not fear, O Yahveh, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy; For all the nations will come and worship before You, For Your righteous acts have been revealed” (Revelation 15:2-4).
“I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing." And every created thing, which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying, "To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever." Amen (Revelation 5:11-13)
Do not take lightly the blood of the lamb
In mercy and love it is still “the day of salvation,” we must judge ourselves on this side of the judgment seat. (2 Corinthians 6:2) It is time to “work out our salvation” according to biblical truth, to be in alignment with every word, commandment, and mandate that our God and Savior has spoken; it is the holy standard by which we will be judged. (Philippians 2:12) There is no way to recognize and escape sin and it’s penalties except by understanding that we have fallen short of His immutable Word and repenting while there is still time. The Biblical Holy Days were divinely given to point us to the atoning blood of our Lamb Yahshua (Jesus), who died to cover our sins, so that we would not be eternally separated from Him. It is the utmost mercy of the Almighty to convict us of our sin and to give us “godly sorrow that produces repentance leading to salvation.” (2 Corinthians 7:10) Yahshua (Jesus) said, “the one who is forgiven much, loves much.” (Luke 7:47) Our beloved Messiah wants to bless and clothe us in His righteousness by washing our sins away as we humbly repent to Him. Our Savior’s all consuming passion is to spend eternity with His redeemed people in the Kingdom of Heaven. However, it is written, “Without holiness no one will see the Lord.” (Hebrews 12:14)
In the following new messages, the Holy Spirit will point out many foundational Biblical truths that are magnified to our understanding in order that we might stay on “the narrow path” following Yahshua (Jesus) out of our sinful flesh nature and this passing world under judgment. (Matthew 7:13-14)
Time is running out! The outpouring of the Almighty’s prophesied judgments have already begun, they will become increasingly intense as we are approaching the end of this present world. (Matthew 24:8) Yahveh made this reality clear through the prophet Amos saying, “The day of Yahveh [the LORD], … will be as though a man fled from a lion, and a bear met him! Or as though he went into the house, leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him!” (Amos 5:18-19) The Holy One of Israel also prophesied through Isaiah that the cataclysmic judgments will be inescapable and thorough, “Terror and pit [of destruction] and snare confront you, O inhabitant of the earth. Then it will be that he who flees at the sound of terror will fall into the pit, and he who comes up out of the pit will be caught in the snare; … The earth is split apart, shaken violently, … Its transgression lies heavily upon it, and it will fall and not rise again.” (Isaiah 24:17-20) Yahveh God Almighty is “holy”, “jealous” and “a consuming fire.” (Psalm 99:9, Exodus 20:5, Hebrews 12:29) In sovereign fury He will destroy and eternally cast out from His presence and Kingdom “all sin and sinners” and all those “who destroyed His earth.” (Psalm 37:38, Revelation 11:18) The ultimate final judgments are called, “the wrath of the Lamb.” (Revelation 6:16) It will be unimaginable vengeance against all those who rejected and rose up in defiant pride against His gift of eternal life, purchased through His sacrificial blood.
Apostle Peter warned that “the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. … But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. Therefore, beloved, since you look forward to these things, be diligent to make every effort to be found by Him in peace, spotless, blameless and holy.” (2 Peter 3:10, 13-14) The certainty of the earth’s destruction makes it intensely urgent for us “to work out our salvation with fear and trembling,” repenting of every sin that needs to be atoned for and covered by the precious blood of the Lamb. (Philippians 2:12) Yahshua (Jesus) stated, “But about that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah.” (Matthew 24:37) In the time of Noah, before the flood, the Creator “saw that the wickedness of mankind was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of their hearts was only evil continually. So Yahveh, the Lord was sorry that He had made mankind on the earth…” (Genesis 6:5-6) He destroyed the earth by the flood but as Peter saw and proclaimed, in the final judgments it will be by fire. The Most High God can bring the fire from heaven or He can use man to set off the weapons of fiery mass destruction. These end time judgments are divinely decreed and therefore irreversible, they cannot be thwarted by prayer. The Eternal God and Creator declared, “even though Noah, Daniel, and Job prayed it would not change the certainty of the prophesied judgments, they could save only themselves by their righteousness …” (see Ezekiel 14:20)
Apostle Peter announced to us, “The end of all things is near. Therefore, be sound-minded [have the mind of Messiah] and self-controlled [so that the Holy Spirit has rightful dominion over our sinful flesh nature] for the purpose of prayer,” unhindered by sin. (1 Peter 4:7) Yahshua (Jesus) says, “What I say to you I say to all: ‘Stay alert!’” “Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand unashamed before the Son of Man.” (Matthew 24:42, Mark 13:37) “…How shall we escape if we ignore or take lightly such a great salvation?” (Hebrews 2:3) The blood of the Lamb on heaven’s mercy seat is continually crying out, “Repent, I do not want anyone to perish!” (see 2 Peter 3:9) We are to come humbly with great faith “to the throne of grace” to receive our Savior’s merciful forgiveness, as we acknowledge our ever present sin nature. The breaking of God’s righteous commandments and mandates is sin that separates us from the Righteous One and His Kingdom. (see Isaiah 59:2) When we acknowledge that we have not walked according to His perfect will and holy commandments, we are confessing our sin, and Yahshua (Jesus) rejoices to cleanse our repentant hearts with His atoning blood and to clothe us with His righteousness. “If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.” “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (Hebrews 9:22, 1 John 1:9-10)
Yahveh Almighty is looking at our heart, it’s motivating desires, affections, and preoccupations with this temporary doomed world. Yahshua (Jesus) will judge each of us by the fruit we bear, whether it is the fruit of the indwelling Holy Spirit or a by-product of the sinful flesh nature that has not been dealt with, confessed, and covered in the Lamb’s atoning sacrificial blood. We must “bear fruit in keeping with true repentance … the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire,” the everlasting flames of Hell. (Matthew 3:8,10) “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a person sows, this he will also reap. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” (Galatians 6:7-8) We are to “make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with Yahshua (Jesus)” in order to stand before Him unashamed because “… It is appointed for men to die once and after this comes the judgment.” (2 Peter 3:14, Hebrews 9:27) We must judge ourselves on this side of the judgment seat while the reality of repentance and the covering of the blood is still mercifully extended to us. As long as we are in these earthly bodies we are wretched sinners who are in need of continual confession of sin. Sin that is not confessed and covered with the atoning blood of the Lamb will stand and testify against us with a verdict that is irreversible and eternal. “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Messiah [Christ], so that each one may receive compensation for his deeds … whether good [done by the Holy Spirit] or bad [done by the flesh].” (2 Corinthians 5:10) This imminent reality should motivate all of God’s redeemed children to fervently “work out their salvation.” (Philippians 2:12) Those who are truly “born again” are “new spiritual creations” that are being transformed to bear the image of Yahshua (Jesus) in righteousness by learning to live in the Spirit and no longer for the flesh and its desires and preoccupations for this passing world. (John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans 8:13, 1 Corinthians 12:27)
It is written, Yahveh God “impartially judges according to each one’s work, so we are to conduct ourselves in fear during the time of our stay on earth; knowing that we were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from our futile way of life inherited from our forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Messiah [Christ].” (see 1 Peter 1:17-19) A superficial half hearted confession of faith leads to the defamation of the precious blood of the Lamb of God that redeemed us. This is why it is written, “We must be crucified to the world and the world to us.” The righteous remnant who have received this truth and put it into action in their daily walk can truly say, “I have been crucified with Messiah [Christ]; and it is no longer I who live, but Messiah lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” (Galatians 6:14, 2:20) As “born again” “new creations” we are to “fight the good fight of faith,” and enemy number one is our old flesh nature who is always trying to pull us out of the Spirit back into the flesh and the world. “Messiah said, Satan is the ruler of this world” he works through our weak flesh to entice and seduce us back into his captivity that Yahshua (Jesus) died to deliver us out of, in order to regain control over our lives. (2 Corinthians 4:4) “For the desire of the flesh is against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another.” (Galatians 5:17) Unless we know the word and will of our Father, growing and maturing more and more in the Holy Spirit, we can not recognize the unrighteous flesh nature and its many modes of operations and inclinations of the heart. It is impossible to grow up in the Holy Spirit bearing our Savior’s holy image if we continue to cultivate, feed, indulge, and please our old flesh nature which must be spiritually denied/crucified and overcome.“
Grievously, there are so many superficial “professing believers” who have fallen prey to rebellion against Biblical truth to satisfy their self-seeking, self-pleasing, world loving desires. The Holy One, His commandments, and Messiah’s biblically prescribed mandates are neglected, compromised, and rarely adhered to. Yahshua (Jesus) asks the half hearted “lukewarm” believers, “Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?” (Revelation 3:16, Luke 6:46) The answer is, as it is written, “For they all seek after their own [self] interests, not those of Messiah Yahshua [Christ Jesus] very few people have the interests of Yahshua at heart.” (Philippians 2:21) Their attentions, affections, and preoccupations keep them in a self serving idolatrous mode, which denies the high call to surrender their lives in service and sacrifice to the One who gave His life for them. Consequently, Satan’s deception has enticed many to desire a counterfeit form of religion instead of righteousness and man made traditions instead of pure biblical truth.
“Apostle Saul also called Paul,” was shown “the coming apostasy - the great falling away” of many professing believers because they were unknowledgeable of sound biblical doctrine, and unaware of Satan’s deceptive schemes. (Acts 13:9, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3) Yahveh God says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4:6) With many tears Apostle Paul also stated, “I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them.” (Acts 20:29-30) “No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants [preachers and teachers] of righteousness, …” (2 Corinthians 11:14) “But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons” producing a counterfeit gospel message. (1 Timothy 4:1) Apostle Paul prophesied that “the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine and accurate instruction [that challenges them with God’s truth]; but wanting to have their ears tickled [with self pleasing doctrines], they will accumulate for themselves [many] teachers” who will reinforce their self centered passions and lusts for worldly gratification. (2 Timothy 4:3 AMP) Paul was very concerned that many believers would be enticed to rebel against their holy God. He said, “I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his deceptive cunning, your mind and heart will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Messiah.” (see 2 Corinthians 11:2-3) Paul foresaw that Satan’s ambassadors were going to come and preach “another Yahshua [a counterfeit]” whom he had not preached, and many would be deceived to easily receive “a different spirit,” and “a different gospel” (refers to 2 Corinthians 11:4) It is a sad reality that so many churches are filled with superficial believers who do not want their comfort zone disturbed and will not tolerate messages regarding sin, the need of repentance leading to righteousness, and the requirement of being cleansed with the atoning sacrificial blood of the Lamb. Due to this compromised rebellious mindset, they are further deceived by Satan to call “… evil good, and good evil; and substitute darkness for light and light for darkness;…” (Isaiah 5:20) Yahshua (Jesus) gave this warning, “Watch out that the light in you is not darkness!” (Luke 11:35)
Apostle Paul prophesied, “that in the last days perilous times will come: For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, … unholy, unloving, …without self control,… lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God having a form of godliness [religion] but denying its power. … Always learning but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth… But evil people and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.” (2 Timothy 3:1-5,7,13) Paul’s words, “they have a form of religion that denies its power”, describes so many professing believers and congregations. They have the outer appearance of godliness but inwardly there is no presence of the Holy Spirit who has departed due to their “double-minded” profession of faith. (See James 1:7-8) Yahshua (Jesus) said that although many would want to enter heaven the reality is “the path is difficult and narrow and very few people will find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14) “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ (Matthew 7:21-23,25:11-12, Luke 13:25) Messiah addresses this sorrowful condition of those who casually call Him ‘Lord and Savior,’ He proclaimed, “‘This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far away from Me. And in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the precepts of men’” rather than the full council of pure biblical truth. (Matthew 15:8-9) Messiah said, “Unless you repent you will all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:3) Repent, repent, repent for “Yahveh is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with His truth.” (Psalm 96:13)
“JUDGMENT BEGINS AT THE HOUSEHOLD OF GOD”
At this time of the Feast of Trumpets, the Holy Spirit is bringing to light foundational biblical truths that have been neglected and need to be repented for. Many professing believers are unaware of the fundamental and foundational mandates of what the true spiritual walk, following the Savior requires. Yahshua (Jesus) the Messiah said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6) If we are not walking in obedience to His foundational truths that compel us to “work out our salvation, with fear and trembling,” we will backslide and fall away onto the “broad path that leads to destruction”, regardless of how sincere we think we are about our relationship with our Savior. (Philippians 2:12, Matthew 7:13) The love of Yahshua (Jesus), through the Holy Spirit, is sounding the shofar (trumpet) to stop His redeemed on their reckless paths. So many who call Him Lord and Savior are unknowingly deceived and falling back into Satan’s dominion and kingdom of darkness. Yahshua (Jesus) grieves over all those who profess to know and love Him, yet they have turned their backs on Him, going back into the flesh and the world, which He died to deliver them out of. Due to this reality, so many of God’s children are like little sheep that have strayed from the Good Shepherd of their souls. (John 10:11-18) The storm clouds are gathering and Yahshua (Jesus), the Good Shepherd, is urgently going after His stray sheep to bring them into safe pasture and establish them in biblical truth, so that they can follow Him on “the narrow path that leads to eternal life.” (Matthew 18:12, 7:14)
During Messiah's ministry on earth, He spoke as to little children and He established the ABC requirements to be His disciples and follow Him. Yahshua (Jesus) clearly laid out the foundation so that no one could miss it, because only He knows the way into His Father’s Kingdom. The following biblical mandates have never been optional, they are foundational and absolutely indisputable requirements for the true holy walk following Yahshua (Jesus). They all pivot from “You shall love Yahveh [the LORD] your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength and love your neighbor as yourself.” People have made these basic ABC biblical requirements into the PHD philosophical department, as something you can never reach or understand. That is the work of the Enemy. Open up your ears to hear and heed the blast of the shofar (trumpet) sounding through our Savior’s proclamation to all, saying, “If anyone wants to follow Me [out of the flesh, out of the world, into the Spirit, into the eternal Righteous Kingdom] he“must deny himself, take up his cross (crucifixion stake) daily, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life [in this world] will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.” (Luke 9:23-24) Yahshua (Jesus) also made it clear “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate [lightly esteem] his own father, mother, [husband] wife, children, brothers, sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple.” (Luke 14:26) It is important to understand when Yahshua (Jesus) uses the word hate, He is teaching that we are to consider as secondary our beloved family, friends, and even our own life. In our “good fight of faith” we must diligently guard our hearts and minds from all competing affections and focus for anyone and anything that would keep Yahshua (Jesus) from being our first, foremost, and eternal love of our lives. (1 Timothy 6:12, Revelation 2:4)
“The love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” (Romans 5:5) It is an all consuming, all compelling, all conquering love for Yahshua (Jesus). This most powerful love, combined with our unwavering faith makes us “more than conquerors” over our selfish sin nature, the world, and Satan. (Romans 8:37) The love of Messiah compels us to continually deny everything that keeps us separated from obeying, serving, and clinging to Him. The power of the love of the Holy Spirit motivates us to “walk as Yahshua (Jesus) walked”, and to “set our minds on things above, not on earthly things”, in order “that we may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.” (1 John 2:6, Colossians 3:2, 4:12) “Therefore, if anyone is in Messiah [Christ] he or she is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17) As supernatural “born again” “new creations,” we have the gift and call to “live in the Spirit,” as we “put to death the deeds the flesh,” because “the flesh counts for nothing.” (John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 5:25, Romans 8:13, John 6:63) In reality, the flesh is an enemy that is in opposition to our lives being lived in the Spirit with Yahshua (Jesus) and for His purposes. (John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17) “Our lives are not our own, We were bought at a price.” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) We were redeemed to serve Yahshua (Jesus), “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other.” (Matthew 6:24) We are either going to deny ourselves and serve Him or we will deny our Savior and serve ourselves. We will be saying yes to the one we love and no to the one we hate.
Apostle Paul was very aware of Satan’s strategies, he was afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve that the believers were going to be enticed by “seducing spirits” through “doctrines of demons.” (see 2 Corinthians 11:2, 1 Timothy 4:1). “The serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world” has not changed his wicked strategies since the Garden of Eden. (Revelation 12:9) He continually poses this cunning question and deceptive reasoning in the mind of God’s children, “Did God really say that?” (see Genesis 3:1) “No, it couldn’t be that difficult, He loves you and He wants it to be easy to follow Him. It couldn’t be such a narrow road that only a few could enter. Your Heavenly Father wants you to have blessings here on earth and make it easy for as many people to enter His Kingdom as possible. If it was too difficult, not many people would be able to enter heaven.” Thus says Satan, to anyone who will listen to him and believe his lies. So many reject the truth because it is inconvenient, uncomfortable, and does not accommodate their preferred and coveted lifestyles and pursuits in this temporary world. They have believed the Enemy’s lies that fortified their flesh and made them a disobedient child and “an enemy to their holy God.” (James 4:4) Yahveh’s response to this demonic deception and self justified rebellion is as a loud shofar proclaiming to our hearts, “Be holy for I am holy” “for without holiness no one will see the Lord.” (1 Peter 1:16, Hebrews 12:14) A superficial confession of faith leads to a hypocritical “form of religion that denies the power” of the Holy Spirit instead of denying the flesh and it’s “inherited” sinful worldly nature. (2 Timothy 3:5, Romans 5:12) Those who are more at home in the world and the gratifications from the world are away from Yahshua (Jesus). They are drunk on the world and intoxicated on the narcotic of dissipation (the squandering of money, energy, or resources), and distractions. (See Luke 21:34) If they are far away from Yahshua (Jesus) now and don’t wholeheartedly repent and turn to Him with all of their hearts, surrendering their lives in devotion and obedience out of love for Him, they are going to be so far away from Him forever, because “flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom” (1 Corinthians 15:50) WOE! WOE! WOE to anyone who exchanges the truth for a lie!
It is written, “Judgment begins at the household of God.” Messiah emphatically stated, “to whom much is given, much will be required.” (1 Peter 4:17, Luke 12:48) Yahshua (Jesus) gave us everything we need for salvation and righteousness to live with Him eternally in Heaven. He gave His life and poured out His blood to cover our repentant sins. (See Matthew 26:28) He clothed us in His righteousness so that we could be seen as holy and welcomed into the presence and Kingdom of His Father. (See 2 Corinthian 5:21) He purchased us to be a people of faith through His atoning blood, so that through this faith we would become “born again” spiritual “new creations; where old things have passed away; and behold, all things have become new.” (John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17) He sent the “gift of the Holy Spirit” to dwell within us so that we would have “the same power that raised Yahshua (Jesus) from the dead living in us. (John 14:26, Romans 8:11) He gave us the faith and grace, to help us deny our flesh, overcome sin, and be “more than conquerors” so that we could learn “to live and have our being in the Spirit.” (Romans 8:37, Acts 17:28) Yahshua (Jesus), as our eternal Bridegroom, is preparing His people to be ready as a bride waiting for the shofar (trumpet) blast that the Bridegroom is coming! (Matthew 25:6) The Holy Spirit is grooming the bride to be eagerly preparing and longingly waiting for the resurrection of our bodies when the glorious shofar blast,“the trumpet of God,” sounds and we will “meet the Lord in the air.” (Philippians 3:20, Revelation 19:7, 1 Thessalonians 4:17)
Yahshua (Jesus), as a holy Bridegroom, redeemed us to be betrothed in a covenant relationship with Him as His redeemed holy bride. (Matthew 9:15, 2 Corinthians 11:2, Revelation 19:7, 22:17) To those who are half hearted and indifferent to His passionate love, He says, “You have confessed me with your lips but your heart was far away from Me.” (Matthew 15:8) You did not love Me in return for My passionate love to die for you. If you had loved Me you would have wholeheartedly given your life to Me, as I gave Mine for you. I wait longingly to be with you every minute of every day, but I see you with your back turned to Me, so busy and so distracted with your mind, heart, and focus rarely on Me. I have become as a second thought to you rather than your “first love.” (Revelation 2:4) Yet, I yearningly wait for you, My beloved, that you would turn your back to the world and run and cling to Me, so that My love for you would compel you by My Spirit, to cultivate an intimate personal relationship with Me here on earth, preparing to spend eternity with Me in My Kingdom. That is the pulsating heart of infinite passionate love of our Savior that caused Him to die for us. He is waiting for us to die to the desires of the flesh and the world that we would stop provoking Him to jealous anger, which causes Him to say, as it is written,“You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” (James 4:4) Friendship with the world makes you His enemy because you are traipsing around (running around) in Satan’s world, indulging your self nature, which is bred of Satan’s seed. You are “trampling the blood” which you profess to believe in “under your feet” while you self justify your self indulgence and thereby deceive yourself. (Hebrews 10:29) But know this, the ultimate penalty for such a hate crime is eternal death. “…If anyone loves the world the love of the Father is not in Him, For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.” (1 John 2:15-17) “Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be miserable, and mourn, and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning, and your joy into gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of Yahshua (Jesus) and He will exalt you” in the Holy Spirit. (James 4:8-10)
This is a most powerful shofar blast from the heart of the One you call Lord and Savior, getting your attention that it is time to repent and quickly turn your back on the intoxicates of the world and all your flesh’s preoccupations and dissipations, which are as lovers in His sight. Return to your “first love” or He will not recognize you as you stand at the threshold of eternity saying, ‘Lord Lord.’ (Matthew 25:11, Luke 13:25) In infinite unfathomable grief, the One who gave His life to redeem a beloved holy bride, will say to many, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, I do not know you [we have no relationship].’ (Matthew 25:11-12 AMP) Yahshua (Jesus) said, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day [when I judge them], ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, and driven out demons in Your name, and done many miracles in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them publicly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me [you are banished from My presence], you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].’ (Matthew 7:21-23 AMP) Again we repeat, “How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?” (Hebrew 10:29) WOE! WOE! WOE! The heavens will part with unfathomable sorrow because of the many who thought they were going into His kingdom. They unknowing chose the road of least resistance, “the broad path” and parted from “the narrow path” following Yahshua (Jesus), who is “the way, the truth, and the life.” (Matthew 7:13-14, John 14:6) “A horrible and shocking thing has happened,” they exchanged His glorious presence for worthless pursuits and senseless worldly preoccupations because He was not their “exceedingly great reward.” (Jeremiah 5:30, Genesis 15:1)

A Heart Cry of Repentance
So Far Away
Rejoice, for this brother of yours was dead & Is alive; he was lost & Is found
- Luke 15:32 -
Our Savior YAHshua (Jesus) came and preached salvation, redemption, and love to each of us who were far away (Ephesians 2:17). As YAHshua (Jesus) proclaimed, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:32). Indeed, He has come to bring all those who are so far away into the light of his glorious presence. Let us all never forget that we are all prodigal sons and daughters because in this fleshly body we are all prone to sin. Indeed, we have all, at one time or another, been far away from the light of our Savior’s glorious presence and love. Accordingly, our Savior rejoices when we draw close to him. Indeed, and as YAHshua (Jesus) noted in His parable of the prodigal son, “Rejoice, for this brother of yours was dead and has begun to live; he was lost and has been found” (Luke 15:32). Yes, he rejoices when we go from being far away to being in the light of His glorious presence!
Additional Music Videos
If you are far away from our Savior, today is the day of salvation; if you hear His voice embrace His call. Our King longs to hold you in His arms of love. He celebrates over each one who comes to salvation, saying “What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open pasture and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? When he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing … saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance” (Luke 15:3-7). Indeed, if you hear Him calling you today embrace His love and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. In addition, if you are already saved and close to our Savior not only can we all become closer to Him but we can also be used to help those who are far away come close to YAHshua (Jesus). As our Messiah said, if you love Him you will feed His sheep (John 21:17). Yes, today is the day of salvation for unsaved and saved alike. Indeed my dear fried, hear His voice calling you to come out of this world. Stop being far away and instead embrace the glorious salvation and love of your savior – both for yourself and for others. Yes, the hour is late – our greatest friend and advocate is our Redeemer – He can help you, love you, and protect you if you simply choose not to be far away. As such, run to Him, embrace his love for you, and tell others above your Savior’s wonderful saving power so that they also can be delivered from being far away.
Concluding Prayer
My God and Savior, I am humbled before You. I hear Your voice speaking to me like a loud trumpet/shofar, piercing my heart with conviction of sin and the reverential fear of Your all mighty power and holiness. You are opening up my ears to hear what Your Spirit is saying, warning me not to take lightly my salvation because judgment is coming upon all those who do not obey Your holy commandments and biblical mandates. You are a covenant keeping God, forgive me for breaking covenant with You, by breaking and not obeying all of Your righteous standards and Commandments.
Yahshua (Jesus) I know that Your Spirit is urging me to get very serious regarding my walk with You. You are shaking and waking me up to the reality that there is very little time left before Your final judgments fall on all sin and sinners, regardless, if they are professing believers or not. I don’t want to be like the hypocritical lukewarm, who confess You with their lips but their heart is craving the things of this world to satisfy their flesh. Forgive me for the times that I take my heart and eyes off You and do crave the pleasures of this world that is under judgment. I repent, please forgive and cleanse me in Your blood and fill me afresh with Your Spirit that I will have the power and grace to uphold Your righteous holy Word and commandments. I want to be found pleasing in Your sight when I appear before You at the judgment seat. In the Scripture, You speak of the difficult times that are coming in the end days and that it will require great endurance and perseverance on the part of Your faithful ones who “keep the Commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Yahshua (Jesus)”. Please help me to be strong, courageous, and faithful when I personally suffer persecution for holding fast my testimony of You and Your commandments. I pray that You will help me, at any cost, to “deny my flesh and wholeheartedly follow You.” Holy Spirit, I ask for Your help and power to be found obedient, holy, and faithful to the end. I want to be part of that righteous remnant who hears that last great shofar when You call Your beloved home into the kingdom of heaven, where we will rejoice eternally as one with You, our King of kings. Thank You for hearing and answering my prayers, Amen.

Want to Learn More About the Feasts?
- Redefining the Feasts of Israel Through the Ten Commandments -
Want to learn even more about the Biblical Feasts of Israel? Check out Terrye G. Seedman's book "Redefining the Feasts of Israel Through the Ten Commandments." The Holy Days pivot around the Ten Commandments, these were appointed times to meet with Him that would help them to walk by His spirit’s leading in these Commandments. Indeed, there would be no feasts if it was not for the Ten Commandments and the penalty of sin for not upholding them and there would be no need of Messiah. The Ten Commandments point us to Him and YAHshua the schoolmaster points us to the truth so we can walk in a way worthy of everything that He has taught us to be. “Not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” (2 Corinthians 3:6) This book unlocks truths from Yahveh's divine Ten Commandments to redefine the true meaning and fulfillment of the holy Feasts of Israel. Simply, the divinely appointed times, the feast days, pivot around the blood on the altar of sacrifice—on the mercy seat, for the forgiveness of sin and sin points us back to the Commandments. Therefore every feast is exalting the Commandments of YAHveh, exalting our Lamb who came and died because we can’t uphold the Commandments without His help. They are inextricably linked. You can’t separate the feasts from the Commandments and you cannot separate the Lamb of God who is the ultimate fulfillment of the holy temple, priesthood, and the sacrificial system’s substitutionary sacrifice for our sin nature. Learn all of this and more in this powerful book about Yahveh's divine commandments and holy feasts.
