The 9th Commandment

- You Shall Not Bear False Witness -

"You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor” (Deuteronomy 5:20). “Lying lips are an abomination to YAHveh (the LORD), but those who deal faithfully are His delight” (Proverbs 12:22). “Keep deception and lies far from me” (Proverbs 30:8-9) “Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies” (Psalm 34:12-13 NIV). “Therefore, laying aside falsehood, speak truth each one of you with his neighbor, for we are members of one another” (Ephesians 4:25). You are not to bear false witness. Most of us do not know the Scriptures well enough; therefore we are giving false witness as to what His word truly says. Regarding the last days, the prophet Jeremiah proclaimed, “To You the nations will come from the ends of the earth and say, ‘Our fathers have inherited … falsehood’” (Jeremiah 16:19). “He who practices deceit shall not dwell within my house; He who speaks falsehood shall not maintain his position before me” (Psalm 101:7). The book of Revelation states that no one who loves and practices lying (falsehood) will enter His kingdom (Revelation 22:15). Practicing falsehood means that you have not developed a language that is of the Spirit of Truth.

Our Savior was very explicit He said if you do not speak truth, which is the only language of the Almighty and His Kingdom, you are speaking Satan’s native dialect. When He addressed the compromised, self-righteous religious leaders YAHshua (Jesus) said, “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies” (John 8:44). YAHshua came to destroy the works of the enemy through our lives and to set the captives free from the enemy’s eternal grip into utmost darkness and torment. Our Father who is in heaven requires holiness to see Him. “Holiness befits Your house, O YAHveh” (Psalm 93:5).

We have learned a native language of which the dialect is lies and that language equates to: we do not speak the language of truth—the truth that lines up to the word of our Father who is in heaven, “hallowed be His name”.  His kingdom and language is love and truth.  If we do not speak according to His words of truth we have no light in us we have the darkness that is of the enemy and we are speaking and promoting the dialect of lies. We have to be brave, courageous, and faith filled knowing His word and speaking truth. If we continue to speak lies we are those who practice falsehood.  We practice it.  We have to learn the dialect and practice truth by speaking it more and more and more.  And those who do not practice truth practice falsehood. They do not speak or live according to the word. When they speak about their God and Savior it is mixed with predominantly lies based on the father of lies—things of this world, the things that seem natural to us.

It is important to understand the reality of YAHveh’s (the LORD’s) enemy and the enemy of all His redeemed children, “The serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan. He has come to earth, raging and filled with fury.” Who is he raging against? He is raging against those who will not receive his deception because his whole thrust is to overcome YAHveh and truth. He is raging to get full dominion over this earth and to get all the inhabitants to speak and believe his language of lies and deception.  He wants them to bow down and worship him, turning from the light, truth and the one way—which is righteousness through YAHshua (Jesus) the Savior.  “[Satan] knows his time is short” and he has come to “deceive all of the inhabitants of the earth” (as many who will believe his lies) (Revelation 12:9,12). As Apostle Paul warned, “For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear” (2 Timothy 4:3), which is not the truth but is deception. It comes from the father of lies native language and it is being spoken worldwide and the whole world is learning to speak the global language of lies. Only those who are truly citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven are walking in the way, truth, and life. They are continually being purified and consecrated through repentance and the covering of YAHshua’s (Jesus’s) blood to stay on that narrow “Highway of Holiness” (Isaiah 35:8). They are the only ones who are going to become fluent in the language of truth that sets people free.  Everything short of truth is deception and a lie. Make no mistake it is not from the Father it is from Satan and it is his diabolical plan to eradicate the reality of truth and any language of truth.

All these grievous realities on earth were prophetically foretold to Daniel. He saw “the truth being thrown to the ground”,  “the sanctuary of YAHveh destroyed” with “deceit prospering”.  Reading the book of Daniel has so much truth pertaining to the days we are in. It is reading as true media showing us what is happening and not the false media that lies to perpetrate the kingdom of darkness that is brainwashing the listeners to believe their deception.  This is why Apostle Peter gave a very powerful exhortation, “We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place” (2 Peter 1:19). “For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit” (2 Peter 1:21). “But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons” (1 Timothy 4:1).

“We Lie and do not Practice the Truth”

We are seeing the desolation of truth.  When truth is desolated through lies the spirit of truth departs and with it goes the glory, the Presence of YAHveh (the LORD). The word Icabod—the glory of YAHveh has departed, is a reality that is upon many of a professing believer and churches today.  We have to know the truth that sets us free. “By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments” (1John 2:3).

We have got to be sure we are being led by the Spirit everywhere we go and not by any man regardless of what title they have or elevation in the church system that seems praiseworthy. Do not be deceived there will be many who preach another Jesus and as Paul warned, “doctrines of demons”.  Demons are lying spirits who distort the truth turning it into a deception by polluting, twisting, turning, and distorting the word of YAHveh to get the people on the broad path, so that they do not ever enter that narrow path that YAHshua (Jesus) said, "Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to” (Luke 13:24). Multitudes from the religious system along with the inhabitants of the earth are being groomed to accept the global one world religion and its doctrine. They are being herded for slaughter on the broad path. They will take the mark of the beast erroneously believing this is of God bringing unity through His love to all people, not realizing that this will cost them their eternal life in YAHveh’s kingdom.

In response to understanding the prophet’s words that truly are a bright light showing us the signs of the times and lighting our path in this dark world that is getting darker and darker because the less truth—the less light.  There is very little light left, “night is coming, when no one can work” (John 9:4). YAHshua (Jesus) was truly pointing to a time when the powers of darkness, as prophesied throughout the Scripture, would rule and reign on this earth and the darkness would overcome the light for a short time, “[The beast] was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him” (Revelation 13:5).

We who have the light do not sleep, “so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober”(1 Thessalonians 5:6). We do not walk into the darkness, we stay in the Spirit where the light is always shinning because the Spirit is light, truth, and righteousness.  So the only way to stay out of this world and its deception and darkness is to, “Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man" (Luke 21:36).

So this is the time we have to run from the deceptions that are already here and are flooding in like a dam that has been broken of demonic darkness, lies, and diabolical schemes that seek to obliterate all of the knowledge of YAHveh and all who follow and worship Him in spirit and in truth. We are to run to the Light, run to the Truth, His testimonies, His Commandments, “To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because they have no [light of] dawn” (Isaiah 8:20), and “they grope in darkness with no light” (Job 12:25). We are to be imbibed with truth, speak the truth, repent for our words and thoughts that do not line up to YAHveh’s (the LORD’s) plumb line of truth 

 “God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth” (1 John 1:5-6).  The world is pitch darkness and the good news is for those who walk in the light it will shine more brightly in the midst of this end time darkness of diabolical demonic takeover and deception. We have to realize that there is a cost to follow YAHshua (Jesus). In following Him we become as Him; knowing that we are going to not only be called to die daily to our flesh in our walk with Him, but throughout the ages many have already been martyred. According to the prophets, especially in the book of Revelation, many are going to loose their lives worldwide for their testimony of truth and maintaining their allegiance to the One God, and Creator, and Giver of the Ten Commandments.

We have to know the truth that sets us free, know the Giver of Truth who gave His life for us, recognize our Good Shepherd’s voice and follow no man for His Spirit will lead us.  We have to have the supernatural mind of YAHshua, which is only truth. “But speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Messiah” (Ephesians 4:15). We have to learn YAHshua’s dialect and that is why so few people, because they practice falsehood, will enter into the kingdom.  “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth” (John 4:24).
