Proverbs asks a vital question that is foundational to this series: “Who has ascended into heaven and descended? … Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name or His son’s name? Surely you know!” (Proverbs 30:4)
“I am YAHveh; that is My name; I will not give My glory to another. For YAHveh, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God [for His holy memorial-name!].” May the Spirit of Truth fill your heart and mouth with praises to His holy name.
A real artifact is to be found in Psalm 68:4 NKJV, “Sing to God, sing praises to His name; extol Him who rides on the clouds, by His Name YAH, and rejoice before Him.” Does He love His name? Yes. He and His name are inseparable.
Yahveh calls to you through His love letter, His matchless Word, emphasizing with passion to a people who have ears to hear Him say: “My name is YAHveh. Draw near to Me; honor my name, then I will most certainly come and bless you.”
“‘For from the rising of the sun, even to its setting, My name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense [prayers] is going to be offered to My name … for My name will be great among the nations,’ says YAHveh of hosts”
YAHveh is jealous of His memorial-name; He never intended for it to be dissolved in a sea of generic titles shared with pagan gods. He said, “where I cause My name to be remembered, I will come to you [personally], and bless you” (Ex 20:24)
Messiah’s spirit is placing within the hearts of a remnant His ancient and holy passion to return YAHveh’s name and glory back to their rightful place—in the hearts of His holy remnant. To forget the His name is tantamount to forgetting Him.
YAHveh, the Holy One of Israel, became flesh and blood and dwelt on earth to bring salvation to Israel and all Gentiles later to be joined with her. In Hebrew, the word for salvation or saves is SHUA. YAHSHUA means YAHveh’s salvation.
YAHshua is “the true light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. … as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of YAHveh, even to those who believe in his name” (John 1:9-12).
Yahshua said, “I have come in My Father’s name and you do not receive Me; if another shall come in his own name [or a man-made name], you will receive him.” (Jn 5:43) Yahshua declared Yahveh’s name and claimed to be one with the Father.
“For I am YAHveh your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; … I, even I, am YAHveh; and there is no Savior besides Me” (Isa 43:3) We are to be witnesses that YAHveh is the eternal, holy God and Redeemer through YAHshua the Messiah.
Since YAHveh IS the Father and YAHshua IS the Son, and since their holy names ARE from eternity’s thresholds, then why not worship Him—THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES—in spirit and truth?—HALLELU-YAH(veh)!
The concluding words of David in the book of Psalms are also a fitting conclusion for this series. May a remnant of redeemed Jews and Gentiles wholeheartedly embrace, reverence, honor, and praise the memorial-name of Yahveh.
