Yahveh's Laws are Immutable

Did God Really Say...

- The Immutable Word of Yahveh is Yes and Amen - -

Let’s begin by looking at the Garden of Eden, the birthplace of man created in YAHveh’s image; created to have fellowship with Him, to walk with Him moment by moment in a setting of Paradise.  In His love the Almighty gave Adam and Eve a free will and that free will separated them from every other creature that was part of His masterpiece of creation. With a free will to choose, YAHveh (the LORD) gave one requirement— “YAHveh God commanded the man, saying, "From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die" (Genesis 2:16-17). Will Adam and Eve past the test and obey the one commandment of their Father whom they love and walk in daily communion within their most beautiful paradise? The enemy, the tempter came in and “… said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” (Genesis 3:1)  “Did God really say not to eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil? He did not really mean that. You are misunderstanding Him.  Of course why would He withhold that pleasure from you?  Look how beautiful it is”—the enemy is working on their senses (Author’s paraphrase).

Meanwhile every other tree in the garden was made first and foremost to be beautiful to the eye of the beholder.  Our Creator gave us trees not only for food but first He said to bring beauty and to be  “… pleasing to the sight…” (Genesis 2:9).  Satan came in to put doubt of the reality of the intentions of their beloved Creator and to tempt them with the beauty of the fruit. Then a pride rose up in Adam and Eve and they wanted to know and have more than that which was given to them in the Garden — the Paradise of Eden.  So dissatisfaction, discontent came as soon as they opened their ears and eyes to the enemy and his enticements. This blocked out the beauty of everything else that YAHveh (the LORD) had given them and they became fixated on that one thing He said not to touch. This test was not unknown to the Creator. Would their free will choose life or would they choose death?  Would they choose good or would they choose evil?  Would they choose His love, which is everlasting never failing blessings, or would they choose a passion that rose up in them to have what they wanted, when they wanted it without anyone telling them what to do?  They believed the lie of the evil one, who took their gift of free will that was put to the first test with one commandment.  Lie after lie after lie entered the human race because of the venom and success of the Ancient Serpent that had come in. Adam and Eve were cast out of the Almighty’s presence, out of His sinless, glorious, beautiful kingdom that had beyond what eye could ever see or imagine for us earthlings in this world.  They were cast out because sin cannot coexist with the sinless Creator of heaven and earth, Who said, “Make every effort … to be holy; without holiness no one will see [YAHveh] the Lord” (Hebrews12:14).

Be On Your Guard

Sin Is Crouching at Your Door

- Be On Your Guard -

As Adam and Eve were cast out of the garden an angel blocked the door for sin to not enter into the Presence.  What a mournful day for our beloved Father but He had the remedy to redeem a generation that was now under curses because they were cast out from the Author and Giver of life and blessings. Adam and Eve originally were to have perpetuated a creation that would live eternally in His holy Presence where there was no sin.   As they left He proclaimed to the enemy, who had caused sin and temptation to enter, that he would be given a death blow from the lineage that would come forth from a sin ridden couple. “And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel" (Genesis 3:15).

As Adam and Eve were cast out into the world that seed of rebellion was past to their children, but with it remained the blessing of a free will.  Their son Cain used his freewill in the direction of rebellion against YAHveh. Abel used his free will in obedience because He loved YAHveh.  Two sides of free will are: love and obey or serve self and all its evil inclinations and rebel against YAHveh your Creator.

YAHveh (the LORD) warned Cain as He saw the inclinations of his heart. He has seen the inclination of each ones heart to this day. Only He knows how wicked every inclination of our hearts are.  But He warned Cain lovingly, “Cain, “sin is crouching at your door” (Genesis 4:7).  “Satan is there to tempt your free will once again as your parents were tempted and they failed the test, don’t fail Cain, it is crouching at the door. I am giving you warning, I am telling you he is there. Don’t believe or give in to what the enemy of your soul is tempting your free will to choose.  Choose life Cain.  Choose My blessings Cain.  Use the free will I gave you to remember and love Me and don’t commit rebellion against My word as your parents did. It is crouching at the door to devour you but you can overcome it Cain” (Author’s paraphrase).

Cain turned his back on YAHveh and he did what pleased him and what seemed right to him.  “There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death” (Proverbs 14:12) and it did lead to the death of his brother Abel, whom Cain was jealous of because Abel was righteous — he did what was right. So not only does our rebellion breed hatred toward YAHveh it breeds hatred toward man.  The two commandments that YAHshua our Savior said are the fulfillment of all, “‘You shall love YAHveh your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets” (Matthew 22:37-40).

We have to master our flesh because sin is crouching, like a demon from hell, at the doors of our lives. Be careful. Give careful thought to your ways, give careful thought to what you do, make sure it is YAHveh leading you. Make sure your choices line up with His Word. Make sure your actions please Him. Don’t lean on your own understanding, it could be a set up from the enemy crouching at your door, wanting to master you when you need to master him.

"For rebellion (against YAHveh) is as the sin of divination (witchcraft)” (1 Samuel 15:23), meaning you are opening the door to demonic spirits letting them into your life. Catering to your flesh allows Satan, who is crouching at the door of your heart to have access.  He wants you to rebel so he has a legal right to rob, kill, and destroy you. You will become his victim and find yourself eternally separated from YAHveh (the LORD) in an unending torturous hell unless you repent. Choose carefully—there are consequences. May YAHveh give you a mastery over sin with discernment of what is crouching at the door of your heart, mind, and your life.

Defining Sin

The Ten Commandments Define Sin

- Understanding the Difference Between the Holy and the Common -

Without the Ten Commandments there would be no distinction between a heathen and one who is part of the commonwealth of Israel who was YAHveh’s (the LORD’s) chosen possession. Israel was to be a witness to the world that YAHveh is the one true living Elohim (God) by the fact that He was with them and gave them such glorious Commandments to live by.  The Commandments are what define sin and until the Commandments were given there was no knowledge of what YAHveh’s plumb line of righteousness was.

When YAHveh, in mercy, came down to earth at Mount Sinai, He manifested His glory to Israel. He gave them the Ten Commandments, statutes and laws, by which to live as children of the Most High King of the universe who created heaven and earth. YAHveh became the Holy One of Israel, and Israel was betrothed to her God at Mount Sinai. Israel’s part in that betrothal: “All that YAHveh has spoken we will do!” (Exodus 19:8). When Israel said she would obey everything YAHveh had said, He proclaimed to her the blessings for obedience and the curses for disobedience (Deuteronomy Chapters 26 and 27).

Israel was to be His witnesses to the earth, bringing the reality of the Ten Commandments lived in and through their humble, obedient hearts that were to be circumcised to YAHveh. Circumcision of the heart and flesh was required for obedience to be reflected in their behavior.  Then others could see their blessings and desire to live in the way YAHveh (the LORD) had shown Israel.

“Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine; and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ (Exodus 19:5-6) …"You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of YAHveh your God which I command you… "So keep and do them, for that is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes and say, 'Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.' "For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as is YAHveh our God whenever we call on Him?” (Deuteronomy 4:2,6-7)

YAHveh in essence said, “Because of your obedience, Israel, the whole world of pagans who have their own gods and ways of doing things, will see that I AM your God, that I love You and have chosen you to show them that I exist. They will see that My Commandments earmark you as a chosen people and the way you live according to these divine and holy precepts will provoke them to jealousy. They will want to turn from their heathen gods that they made for themselves and turn to Me, the One who created heaven and earth. They will want to have the blessings and favor of My presence dwelling in their midst as I have been with you.”

YAHveh was in their presence enthroned upon the ark that housed His Ten Commandments (see Exodus 25:16)—the standard they would be judged by.  In His love and mercy He did not want a wedge of sin separating Israel from Himself because of their inability to walk in complete obedience to His holy commandments, for He knew the inclination of their hearts were prone mostly to evil, disobedience and rebellion (see Exodus 32:22).

So He gave Israel a sacrificial system with the reality of the blood focus being the antidote for sin, so that there would never need to be a distance between them. If they would only confess and have the blood of the sacrifice cover their sins.  'For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement' (Leviticus 17:11).

‘But when you unwittingly fail and do not observe all these commandments, which YAHveh has spoken to Moses, even all that YAHveh has commanded you through Moses, from the day when YAHveh (the LORD) gave commandment and onward throughout your generations, then it shall be, if it is done unintentionally, without the knowledge of the congregation… ‘Then the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the sons of Israel, and they will be forgiven; for it was an error, and they have brought their offering, an offering by fire to YAHveh, and their sin offering before the YAHveh, for their error. ‘So all the congregation of the sons of Israel will be forgiven, with the alien who sojourns among them, for it happened to all the people through error.

‘Also if one person sins unintentionally… ‘The priest shall make atonement before YAHveh for the person who goes astray when he sins unintentionally, making atonement for him that he may be forgiven. You shall have one law for him who does anything unintentionally, for him who is native among the sons of Israel and for the alien who sojourns among them. ‘But the person who does anything defiantly, whether he is native or an alien, that one is blaspheming YAHveh; and that person shall be cut off from among his people. ‘Because he has despised the word of YAHveh (the LORD) and has broken His commandment, that person shall be completely cut off; his guilt will be on him.’” (Numbers 15:22-31)

Everlasting Covenant

The Everlasting Covenant

- I Call the Heavens and the Earth as Witnesses -

“By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments” (1John 2:3). Twice in Deuteronomy YAHveh reiterated, “Regarding the giving of His Ten Commandments and statutes, I call heaven and earth as My witnesses (see Deuteronomy 4:26 and Deuteronomy 30:19).” When YAHshua (Jesus) said, “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets [Commandments, the laws of My Father]; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished” (Matthew 5:17-18). He is saying heaven and earth are the witnesses My Father chose, and unless you get rid of them you are not going to abolish His word, His everlasting Commandments. For as much as the enemy is going to try and get rid of YAHveh, His Commandments, and His people, he is not going to be able to.

This world has become a place where the majority of people do not want any reminder of the Creator of heaven and earth. They don’t want any standard of righteousness or any indictment that they, in anyway, have to suffer discomfort by being told they are sinners. To them, there are no rules or Commandments. When we obliterate the Commandments there is no recognition of sin. If there is no sin, it nullifies the blood of the Lamb who died to give us the atoning virtue of His own holy blood to cover repentant sins. And this removes the way from humanity to ever go into YAHveh’s (the LORD’s) eternal kingdom. This is one of Satan’s most diabolical agendas which is unfolding successfully throughout the whole world to nullify the reality of all that has been written and accomplished by our Creator, His Son our Savior, and the Spirit of Truth.

With the obliterating of the Ten Commandments, Satan and his triune rulership is going to take every inhabitant down in one fell swoop to his domain of eternal darkness. He is moving towards that. He is being very successful in deleting from masses of humanity, even the thought, that there is a God, Creator and righteous standards.  People are truly calling good evil and evil good and live by whatever the god of their lives other than the one true living God dictates. This is freedom to them, what they do not know is that this is total bondage that will lead them into eternal doom where there will be such sorrow with weeping and gnashing of teeth and no hope to ever escape the wakeful torment of enduring eternal hell.

The United States of America was founded on the Ten Commandments, but now it is intensely trying to get rid of every vestige, reminder, and remembrance of the One true Creator of heaven and earth and His name. In part it is working. Satan thinks he has won and that he will sit on the throne where YAHveh the living God and righteous King chose to put His name forever. He has deceived the inhabitants of the earth. He is deceived to think that he will win.

In the book of Amos YAHveh (the LORD) told Amos, "Behold, days are coming," declares the Lord YAHveh, "When I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine for bread or a thirst for water, But rather for hearing the words of the YAHveh (God)” (Amos 8:11). We must have His words hidden in our hearts so that we do not sin against Him but as already stated for the majority of people; YAHveh, the Commandments, and righteous standards do not exist. King Solomon after turning from YAHveh to the worship of idols came back to his senses at the end of his life seeing that all the joys, pleasures, and self-satisfying indulgences were vanity and he concluded his final work with these words, “The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: Fear YAHveh (God) and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person. (Ecclesiastes 12:13)

Want to learn even more about YAHveh's holy Ten Commandment? Check out Terrye G. Seedman's book "Redefining the Feasts of Israel Through the Ten Commandments." The Holy Days pivot around the Ten Commandments, these were appointed times to meet with Him that would help them to walk by His spirit’s leading in these Commandments.  Indeed, there would be no feasts if it was not for the Ten Commandments and the penalty of sin for not upholding them and there would be no need of Messiah.  The Ten Commandments point us to Him and YAHshua (Jesus) the schoolmaster points us to the truth so we can walk in a way worthy of everything that He has taught us to be.  “Not of the letter but of the Spirit.  For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” (2 Corinthians 3:6) This book unlocks truths from YAHveh's divine Ten Commandments to redefine the true meaning and fulfillment of the holy Feasts of Israel. Simply, the divinely appointed times, the feast days, pivot around the blood on the altar of sacrifice—on the mercy seat, for the forgiveness of sin and sin points us back to the Commandments. Therefore every feast is exalting the Commandments of YAHveh, exalting our Lamb who came and died because we can’t uphold the Commandments without His help.  They are inextricably linked. You can’t separate the feasts from the Commandments and you cannot separate the Lamb of God who is the ultimate fulfillment of the holy temple, priesthood, and the sacrificial system’s substitutionary sacrifice for our sin nature. Learn all of this and more in this powerful book about Yahveh's divine commandments and holy feasts.

The Ten Commandments in Detail

the Ten Commandments
- Overview -

Until the Commandments were given there was no knowledge of YAHveh’s holy rules or plumb line of righteousness.

the Ten Commandments
- Why are They Important -

We must be holy as He is holy yet without the Ten Commandments there would be no distinction between sin and holiness.

The 1st Commandment
- Have No Other Gods -

YAHveh says that He alone is to be our exceedingly great reward and that we must not love or put anything before Him.

line 2 copy.png

The 2nd Commandment
- Have No Idols -

The Bible says no idolatrous person will enter heaven. Anything that takes priority over our Creator and Savior is an idol.

The 3rd Commandment
- Honor Yahveh's Name -

The Creator has an incomparable, sacred name that is to be honored.  Indeed, the holy name of YAHveh is a fortified tower.

The 4th Commandment
- Honor the Sabbath -

Like YAHveh’s holy name, the Sabbath is to be remembered and observed as a memorial of the Creator’s work and rest.

line 2 copy.png

The 5th Commandment
- Honor Your Parents -

If you cannot honor your parents you cannot honor YAHveh. This is the first Commandment with a promise.

The 6th Commandment
- Do Not Murder -

Yahshua said that anyone who holds hate in his heart or harbors anger is a murderer and has no eternal life abiding in him.

The 7th Commandment
- Do Not Commit Adultery -

Adultery is more than a physical sin - it is forsaking YAHshua by lusting for this world because He alone is not enough.

line 2 copy.png

The 8th Commandment
- Do Not Steal -

We are to be humble, giving YAHveh all the praise, honor, and glory - otherwise we steal the glory that belongs to Him.

The 9th Commandment
- Do Not Bear False Witness -

Our Savior said if you do not speak truth, which is the only language of YAHveh,  you are speaking Satan’s native dialect.

The 10th Commandment
- Do Not Covet -

Yahveh says no covetous person has an inheritance in His kingdom. If you covet worldly pleasures you are His enemy.
