As you continually draw close to your beloved Yahshua (Jesus) in an intimate personal relationship with Him, He will take you higher above your flesh, above the pull of the world, and will raise you up to newfound heights of glory in Him”

Heaven awaits, heaven is calling those who have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying. King David cried out by the Spirit, “open up your gates.” (Psalm 24:7) Our gates allow things to come into our mind, our heart, our thoughts, through our eye gates, our ear gates, the things we touch, the things we desire. The Spirit is crying out, “open up the holy gates for the King of Glory to come into our lives.” (Psalm 24:7) If your gates are opened to the things of this earth and the things that are sensual instead of having your eyes and ears focused upon Him who is the glory and lifter of your head, you will never know His glorious presence. You have exchanged it for worthless things because you have made the wrong exchange. You chose the worthless instead of the precious rather than the precious in place of the worthless. (see Jeremiah 15:19) We have been redeemed and purchased to be living temples in which Yahshua’s (Jesus’s) Spirit dwells and is enthroned on our purified blood redeemed hearts. As the Holy Spirit rules and reigns over our lives, we will bring the praise, honor, and glory that ascends to the throne of the Father, the Creator and lover of our souls. As you continually draw close to your beloved Yahshua (Jesus) in an intimate personal relationship with Him, He will take you higher above your flesh, above the pull of the world, and will raise you up to newfound heights of glory in Him. Time is short, flee the destruction that the flesh is leading us into. Flee the world that is doomed to destruction and “the prince of this world, the god of this world, Satan” who is seducing and enticing God’s children as in the Garden of Eden to question the word of God. (2 Corinthians 4:4) Do not question the truth, let the truth have its way. Let it “set you free”, let it open your blind eyes, and deaf ears and cause you “to be convicted of sin, righteousness, and judgments to come.” (see John 8:32, 16:8) Hear what the Spirit is saying. “For yet in a very little while, He who is coming will come, and will not delay. But My righteous one will live by faith; and if He shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” (Hebrews 10:37-38)

“For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live”
— Romans 8:13

Yahveh is a loving God who gave His Son, but He is a God of justice and judgment and we will all have to give an account before Him at the judgment seat. (2 Corinthians 5:10) If you are indeed “born again” through faith in the atoning sacrificial blood of the Savior covering your repentant sins, then you can “submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.” (John 3:3, James 4:7) Resist your flesh and in the power of the Holy Spirit and in the power and authority of Yahshua’s (Jesus’s) name above all names, you have the authority over the strongholds that have kept you captive, imprisoned in sin, your flesh nature, and the world with its enticements and seductions. “For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.” (Romans 8:13) Anyone who wants to follow Yahshua (Jesus) must “deny themselves and daily pick up their crucifixion stake [cross]” to live in the Spirit and be safe from the deceptions, seductions, and any further captivity to the devil’s works that the Son of God died to set them free from. (Luke 9:23, 1 John 3:8)

If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you”
— John 15:19

Yahshua (Jesus) said, “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments [you will obey Him].” (John 14:15) You will seek what pleases Him in His word, you will find it, you will do it, you will repent for disobedience, and you will “work out your salvation” on that straight and narrow path single file with your Savior. (see Ephesians 5:10-12, Philippians 2:12, Matthew 7:14) A lonely path, but a glorious path, a path ridden with heartaches and sorrows. As our Savior was acquainted with sorrows and grief and was hated, persecuted, ostracized, and rejected, so too will we be who wholeheartedly follow Yahshua (Jesus). (See Isaiah 53:3) The Savior said, If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you: a servant is not above His master.” (John 15:19-20) If you are sacrificing your life on the altar of surrender in return for your Savior’s life given for you, these words will comfort and encourage you, “Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, …” (Matthew 5:11-12) “If you are reproached for the name of Messiah, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.” (1 Peter 4:14)

We too, must exchange the vain glory that is of the flesh and this world, for the precious instead of the worthless”

More of His glory rests upon us, that is why we count it all joy to be persecuted as Peter and John did after their flogging by the religious leaders. (Acts 5:40-41) Before Yahshua’s (Jesus’s) crucifixion, Peter shrunk back and denied his Master because he was afraid, but once he understood that persecution brings such glory, he walked embracing and rejoicing with the other apostles that they were counted worthy to know Yahshua (Jesus) in His sufferings (2 Corinthians 12:9-10, 2 Timothy 3:11-12, 1 Peter 12:14) We too, must exchange the vain glory that is of the flesh and this world, for the precious instead of the worthless. As Apostle Paul said, “I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Messiah Yahshua [Christ Jesus] my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them mere rubbish, so that I may gain Messiah …” (Philippians 3:8) Once people know the riches of His glory, they will endure persecution and suffering, because the greater blessing of more glory is promised to them. The faithful redeemed already know what it is like to walk in His holy presence and nothing compares. Although you will be despised, even by many who call Him Lord, Yahshua (Jesus) will know you as His very own, His very bride, because you have joined with Him in suffering even unto a martyr’s death if need be.

What glory to know Him in the intimate wonderful places more deeply and more profoundly through the sufferings that we learn to share with Him! Sharing in His sufferings guarantee us that we will know Him in the glory of His resurrection power at the appointed time. (see Philippians 3:10) We must leave the world and the flesh in order to be outside of the camp to be with our Savior. As it is written, “Yahshua (Jesus) also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through His own blood. Therefore let us go to Him outside the camp and bear the reproach He endured as He went outside the camp.” (Hebrews 13:12-13) The great Oswald Chambers knew this path well saying, “The way is lonely and it goes on until there is no longer even a trace of a footprint to follow - but only the voice saying, “Follow Me.’ (Matthew 4:19)
