- Day 10 -
Anyone who Loves Yahveh Will Not Continue to Sin
“No one who keeps on sinning has either seen Him or known Him.” (1 John 3:6) Yahveh wanted His people to remember His laws, in Numbers 15:39 He instructed them to wear a tallit with 613 fringes representing His commandments and decrees (this is not to make an issue about the tallit); it would be an everlasting visual reminder so that they would not forget His commandments but obey them and not prostitute themselves, by going after the lusts of their own heart and eyes. “If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell.” (Matthew 5:29) His word will sanctify you, if you walk in it. When we veer, as long as we don’t keep defying Him, His blood will make sure that we stay consecrated through a repentant godly sorrow in our hearts.
“I AM Yahveh, your Elohim, who brought you out of the world, who brought you out of Egypt, that brought you out of your unredeemed state to be your God. I AM YAHVEH your God. (Exodus 6:6, Exodus 20:2, Leviticus 22:33, Deuteronomy 5:6, Psalm 81:10…) How sad that He has, throughout the Scriptures, from generation to generation, had to keep declaring the same thing to a stubborn, defiant, adulterous people. How sad, and yet He is longsuffering, “He does not wish that any perish.” (2Peter 3:9)
There will come a day when He says, “There is no more remedy” and His longsuffering and mercy will turn into merciful wrath and vengeance, in order to create a home of righteousness for those who obeyed. “Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double minded. Grieve, mourn, and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before Yahveh, and He will lift you up.” (James 4:8-10)
“Now listen, you rich people, and weep and wail because of the misery that is coming upon you. Your wealth has rotted and moths have eaten your clothes. Your gold and silver are corrupted, their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have horded wealth in the last days.” (James 5:1)
We live in a very affluent country. Few of us know anything but luxury compared to what the majority of human beings who live on the face of the earth understand of poverty, so, most of us fall into that category. Yahshua is saying, whatever you have that you don’t spend on eternal things it is going to testify against you, if you have horded it for yourself in the last days. Do you understand that? It is riches, it is luxury, and it is something that you are using for yourself to make selfish ambition, lust, and the pride of life even stronger in you, because you are investing it in the god of yourself.
It will corrode because you will have something; a buried gift or talent that will cause Yahveh to say, “Throw him away from My presence, he didn’t multiply it by investing it into My kingdom. He horded it for himself and it testifies against him and it will eat his flesh like fire.” It means you won’t be with Him you are going to have flesh that is going to burn and burn and burn. It is like the burning bush but this time there will be pain involved it will be everlasting pain because it won’t be Yahveh in the midst of that fire.
Do you understand that Yahveh came as a consuming fire and continues to come to us now, as a consuming fire, to burn up our flesh? So that in the day when He comes to judge the world we will be standing in His presence purified like gold and we will receive a rich warm welcome into His kingdom because we do not have things horded up, testifying against us.
