Put on Sackcloth

Put on Sackcloth

Jeremiah 6:26

The night before the terrorist attack in New York City, I was completely engulfed in YAHveh’s grief and sorrow. I kept proclaiming to my husband and children and even to an oblivious neighbor, “I can’t speak. I feel like I have to put on sackcloth and ashes.” Again YAHveh (the LORD) has put that spirit of sackcloth and ashes upon me. Because of what is going to come quickly and suddenly upon this earth—and there will be few who escape. YAHveh’s word is clear. It has been spoken over and over again through every one of His mouthpieces—few will escape the judgment to come.

The sorrow is heavy; who will not listen. It is coming as sure as it came to New York; it will spread like gangrene across the face of this earth. YAHveh will destroy mankind as He did in the days of Noah. The corruption and the wickedness made Him sorry He created mankind, because every inclination of their hearts was evil. It was evil and wicked because it did not line up to the heart of YAHveh. He destroyed them and only eight people, a remnant, escaped.

The word says, “For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah” (Matthew 24:37). Only a few will escape. The label “Christian” and sitting on church pews, will not cause you to escape the judgment to come. Those who have pure hearts, clean hands, who have not bowed their hearts to idols, and those who love Him with all their hearts and out of that love they obey and guard His righteousness—they will escape.

YAHshua (Jesus) told His disciples, “Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able” (Luke 13:24). Many will try but few will enter. The rubber is meeting the road. YAHveh speaks His word, He pleads, He beseeches, and surely the judgments will fall. “…From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more” (Luke 12:48).

His warnings are mercy. If you spit on His mercy and “go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries” (Hebrews 10:26-27).

“It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God” (Hebrews 10:31).
