Why the Use of Our God and Savior’s Holy Names?

The Lamb of God - Our Passover Lamb

The Lamb of God - Our Passover Lamb

The Feasts of Passover, Unleavened Bread, and Firstfruits are a glorious portrait of our Savior’s death, His holy walk on earth, and His victorious resurrection from the dead.”

We are approaching the Spring Feasts on the Almighty’s biblical calendar. This year the sovereign holy days begin at sundown on April 12th. These are Yahveh God’s “appointed times”; promising wisdom, insight, and instruction to the remnant who wholeheartedly count the cost to follow Yahshua (Jesus). The Feasts of Passover, Unleavened Bread, and Firstfruits are a glorious portrait of our Savior’s death, His holy walk on earth, and His victorious resurrection from the dead.  Our beloved Lamb will be memorialized forever in the Kingdom, as it is written, “I saw in the center of the throne a Lamb as though it had been slain, …” (Revelation 5:6) Throughout the Feast’s teachings many aspects of “the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29) are magnified: The “blood of the Lamb” (Ephesians 1:7), judgments on all who “trample the Lamb’s blood” (Hebrews 10:29), “the wrath of the Lamb” (Revelation 6:16), “the bride of the Lamb” (2 Corinthians 11:2), and “the wedding supper of the Lamb”(Revelation 19:6-9) There will be utmost celebration and greatest rejoicing when the Son, the Lamb of God, is eternally one with His redeemed holy bride in His Father’s Kingdom forever, HalleluYAH!

During this Passover season, we are vividly reminded that our daily walk following Yahshua requires us to continually behold the Lamb and uphold His precious blood through our holy, obedient, surrendered lives.”

John the Revelator, was shown the fulfillment of the many terrifying judgments that would be poured out upon the earth and its rebellious inhabitants. For the righteous redeemed, he saw the glory of the presence of Almighty God and of “the Lamb in the center of the throne” (Revelation 7:17). In awe, Apostle John proclaimed what he witnessed, writing “And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying,“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!” (Revelation 5:12-13) The Holy Spirit is urging us to truly know the passionate love of Yahshua (Jesus) that compelled Him to come to earth and die as the Passover Lamb, to deliver us from our sins and its wages of eternal punishment and torment in “the lake of fire” (Revelation 20:12). During this Passover season, we are vividly reminded that our daily walk following Yahshua requires us to continually behold the Lamb and uphold His precious blood through our holy, obedient, surrendered lives.

The Prayer for Preparation of The Heart For Passover was prayed during a holy convocation and is available to you in both audio and written formats. To listen press below.

A Prayer For Preparation Of The Heart For Passover

Father in Heaven, Thank You that we are under the outpouring of Your glorious Spirit as we're getting prepared for Passover and You are shining the light of Your righteous countenance upon us showing us the leaven that is in crevices in our minds and mindsets and the inclinations of our heart. We thank You that You are not overlooking our sin because You love us too much and You don't want anything to separate us from You now or eternally. Thank You for this time of purification and sanctification as You bring to light the sin that is hidden and tucked away, the leaven that has to be cleansed out that we would be an unleavened loaf. We praise You and thank You for Yahshua’s precious blood that is always our hope in the midst of our wretched sin-nature deserving Your wrath and eternal damnation.

The precious blood cries out to us that there's still hope there's still time to get right with You and to get our sins placed in the only place where they are forgotten and it's in Your love covered in Your blood. Thank You that we know Your love through Your forgiveness, Your mercy, and Your grace. Thank You Yahveh that You don't leave us in the condition we're in, even now, we're in need of so much forgiveness. Even now, we need Your blood to cover and cleanse and purify us. Even now, we need Your Holy Spirit to continually convict us of our sin and Your righteousness and the judgments that come upon all sin. Thank You that You have come, in the heat of Your presence and the power of Your indignation over the grief that we have caused You inadvertently by just living casually in fleshy habits, attitudes, aptitudes, inclinations, and thoughts and words that have grieved You to such a height of anger, that the fear of You covered our shame with trepidation of going any further without having You deal with us now, this side of the judgment seat, that we might be forgiven and cleansed in Your blood. Thank You for the magnitude of the fear of You that came upon us afresh and that You were here and Your presence was fear provoking because of Your displeasure and grief over our sin that had gone unchecked, instead of repented for and covered and turned from. As small as it is, as insignificant as it seemed, it was major in Your sight, a stench in Your nostrils, a grief in Your sight, and a sadness in Your omnipotent loving heart.

Continue to help us Yahveh to work out our salvation. We're still in the now, we're still in the body, we can still work out our salvation with fear and trembling. Help us to accelerate the process for our eternal well-being with You. You're gathering Your beloved under Your everlasting wings of love to Yourself.  You are calling us from heaven to quickly come up higher to be with You, spend more time with You, and bask in Your presence and get rid of all of the carnal nature that besets us so frequently. It's like an old comfortable shoe that we wear and are unaware that it is a stench. It is filled with sorrows and grief in Your holy sight. Thank You, Father in heaven, for having such mercy to discipline us, Your children. You don't discipline those who are not Yours, so we thank You to know Your love in the mercy of discipline and displeasure this side of the judgment seat.

We still have life here and we thank You for the service each one of us can render to You, the glory we can bring to You, and the opportunities to continue to repent and turn and become more like You in our hearts, deeds, thoughts and words. Father in heaven, help us to quickly grow more and more into Yahshua’s identity. We know we are welcomed, only because of Your blood covering us. Thank You for Your love and mercy that we are not naked, but we're clothed in Your righteousness.  Thank You for Your holy purpose and will that we all seek individually and corporately. We praise You that You are giving us more time to pour out our lives so Yahshua can live through us and more people can be drawn to You through our crucified lives.

Yahshua (Jesus) You gave everything and rendered Your life as nothing, except to be the Passover Lamb to die for our sins, cover our nakedness, and to save our wretched souls. HalleluYah! May this Passover be filled with the riches of Your glory overflowing each and every one of Your children all over the world as we behold You the Lamb and uphold Your blood now until the day that You take us to be with You. There we will behold You as the Lamb in the center of the throne and all of Heaven's hosts will commemorate what You have done to bring glory to Your Father, and to bring children into the kingdom, and to have Your bride who will sit with You on Your throne and will rule and reign with You in Your kingdom forever. Help us, Father, never to take lightly the high call for which You died to make us worthy to be called Your bride in the name, power, and authority of Yahshua may it be so.  Amen

Passover - Unleavened Bread

When I see the blood I will pass over you

You have come as the Passover Lamb

And Your blood has covered our sins.

As our Father had told, the great mystery of old

By Your power over death you did win.

Yahshua the Conqueror, You died that we might live.

Yahshua Deliverer, Your great love and life You did give.

The same way You ascended on high

We will look up redemption draws nigh

For the angel did say, You’d return again one day

Come Yahshua Messiah we cry.

As our eyes long to see Your return

And our hearts full of joy daily yearn

For the promise is true, our hope is steadfast on You

In the light of Your love we are one.

Yahshua the Conqueror, You died that we might live.

Yahshua Deliverer, Your great love and life You did give.

Written by a precious sister who is now in glory with her beloved Yahshua
