Do You Truly Love Yahshua (Jesus)?
Do you love Yahshua (Jesus)? Do you need to be asked a second time? I do, because every time I hear it, it cuts to the quick, cutting away the selfishness of my own desires so that the reality of the Savior’s love can strike my heart cords, resounding one thing—He does not want to see anyone perish but for all to come to repentance (see 2 Peter 3:9). He came to seek and save the lost, to open blind eyes, to open deaf ears, and to bring the truth that will cause people to go from spiritual death to spiritual life, to set captives free. This is the Yahshua (Jesus) we serve. Apostle John says, “but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of Yahveh has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked” (1 John 2:5-6). Doing the will of God will be their food. It will be so satisfying that it will dwarf all other appetites.
Yahveh (the Lord) is pleading, “Do you love Me?” If you don’t love Him, tell Him, “No I don’t love You. I don’t love You the way You want me to love You because I’m not willing to feed Your sheep; I’m not willing to follow You.” Yahshua (Jesus) says, “I can help you with that, but if you won’t let Me, then go out into the world, be ice cold, and stop professing Me. ‘…your yes is to be yes, and your no, no…’” (James 5:12).
You must be honest so that Yahveh can help you in your weakness to overcome all that doesn’t allow Him to love and live His life through you. It is so important because we are at the close of the age with only a little time remaining. Our Heavenly Father wants to give us more of Himself so that He can be made known and manifested on this earth to more and more people, reaching them for eternal life.
I beseech you, dear friend, by the mercy of Yahveh, the mercy that caused Him to send His Son to pour out His life’s blood, I am beseeching you to put your life, your selfish ambitions, your stubbornness, and your contentions against His Word that says, “Does Yahveh really require that of me?” on the altar. Without His love, it will be impossible. Answer Him with a true answer to the question, “Do you love Him?” And if the answer is no, ask Him to do whatever it takes to make you willing to beat back and crucify your flesh, so that you can truly love Him. If you said yes, I do love Him, Yahshua (Jesus) says to you, “Go, feed My sheep” (John 21:17). And you will respond, “Whatever the cost, whatever the price is, I will do Your will.”
“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Matthew 16:26). You are either going to love and feed His sheep or lose your soul gaining the world. It is simple.
