Don't Insult the Spirit of Grace

Don't Insult the Spirit of Grace

Hebrews 10:29

Zechariah saw a flying scroll; its length is thirty feet and its width fifteen feet … Yahveh said, “This is the curse that is going forth over the face of the whole land; surely everyone who steals will be purged away according to the writing on one side, and everyone who swears (falsely) will be purged away according to the writing on the other side. I will make it go forth,” declares YAHveh of hosts, “and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of the one who swears falsely by My name; and it will spend the night within that house and consume it with its timber and stones” (Zechariah 5:1-4).

This also speaks of all who have robbed Yahveh of the obedience due Him by stealing and preaching a deceptive message that removed the Ten Commandments as the bases of righteous living to millions of souls, replacing it with a false grace message that has been swallowed by many and passed down to their children. The label “Christian” and sitting on church pews, will not cause you to escape the judgment to come. Those who have pure hearts, clean hands, who have not bowed their hearts to idols, and those who love Him with all their hearts and out of that love obey His Commandments and guard His righteousness—they will escape. Anyone who tries to go around the Ten Commandments and the once for all sacrificial blood of Yahshua (Jesus) that placed those Commandments on their hearts, are going to go around in the wilderness for the rest of their lives. They will die in the wilderness never getting to see the Promised Land.

This is why Peter said, “For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God” (1Peter 4:17). “For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries. Anyone who has set aside the Law of Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, “vengeance is mine, I will repay.” And again, “Yahveh will judge His people.” It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (Hebrews 10:26-31)

Those who take lightly such a costly salvation by willfully continuing to sin are trampling the holy blood and are re-crucifying Yahshua (Jesus) subjecting Him to public disgrace. They are destined to eternal destruction because they have the same guilt as those who stood there driving nails into His hands and His feet and will be found with His blood on their hands. The Son’s holy sacrificial blood will testify against all who disavow or lightly esteem such a great salvation.

His warnings are mercy and it is with humility, contriteness, fear and trembling at His word that one must work out their salvation. If anyone has arrogance they will be humbled and if they continue to break His Commandments, Yahshua will reply, ''I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.' (Luke 13:27) “You did not obey My Father’s commandments that means you are not Mine.” (Author’s paraphrase) “The one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked” (1John 2:6). Yahshua (Jesus) walked upholding Yahveh’s commandments, fulfilling all righteousness.

Can you see that this is magnifying His heart so that you can know Him and receive His blessings? “Let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am Yahveh who exercises lovingkindness, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things," declares Yahveh” (Jeremiah 9:24). May you have the opportunity to truly know Him and make a wise decision to choose His divine blessings and not His sovereignly proclaimed curses that cannot be retracted (see Deuteronomy 28). The only thing that can change is our hearts towards Him. May you know Yahveh as your Daddy, the King of Righteousness, the King of Glory, and bring Him what is His due by loving Him, honoring and worshipping Him, and be sorry when you don’t.

May you come to Him repentant and humble and He will receive and meet with you and be your God, Father, and Bridegroom forever. He wants this so much that He came and died for you. “To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood—and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen” (Revelation 1:6). He is “the pearl of exceedingly great price” and what else is there except to live for Him and give your lives in thanksgiving and gratitude for the great mercy He has extended to you—and may you extend His mercy to others.

It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of a holy God but it is a glorious thing to be welcomed into His kingdom through Yahshua’s (Jesus’s) atoning blood. We must never take lightly, flippantly or for granted such a glorious holy salvation by intentional sin, which makes us an enemy toward Yahveh.

You are at a crossroad beloved; are you craving, craving, craving what your flesh wants; foolishly ignoring the blood of the Lamb and His mighty outstretched arm that can deliver you from eternal death and the love of the things of this world? This is where many of us are, the cravings of our earthly bodies, these tents that we live in, are like looming giants that control and manipulate us.

Apostle Paul says, “But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Messiah” (Philippians 3:7-8). He considered everything a loss and as rubbish compared to the surpassing greatness of gaining YAHshua (Jesus). We need to be like him. He said to follow his example of beating back the flesh and counting everything so worthless that you throw it on the garbage heap, so that you can participate in that miraculous resurrection that is coming for the righteous.

Does your heart tremble with reverential fear and heart rending sorrow because what you considered adequate love for YAHshua (Jesus) falls very short of His glory? Do you still desire to indulge your flesh and its self centered inclinations and ambitions? Throw it all on the garbage heap and confess it as sin or it will always be a stumbling block. You will fall under severe judgment and die in the wilderness never seeing the Promised Land.

Listen and take to heart Apostle Paul’s words, warning, and admonition, “Now these things happened as examples for us, so that we would not crave evil things as they also craved. Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written, “the people sat down to eat and drink, and stood up to play.” Nor let us act immorally, as some of them did, and twenty-three thousand fell in one day. Nor let us try the Lord (Master), as some of them did, and were destroyed by the serpents. Nor grumble, as some of them did, and were destroyed by the destroyer. Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come. Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed that he does not fall. No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.” (1 Corinthians 10:6-13)

“But to this one I will look, To him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word” (Isaiah 66:2). May this motivate us to be pleasing in His sight overcoming the flesh, the world, and the enemy of our souls.
