Glory to The Righteous One

Glory to The Righteous One

Isaiah 24:16

We are to share in the pervasive, infinite sorrow and grief of our heavenly Father’s heart over the wickedness of humankind and the rebellion displayed as they flaunt their sin proclaiming their hatred for Him.

“The city [the world] of chaos is broken down; Every house is shut up so that none may enter. There is an outcry in the streets…All joy turns to gloom. The gaiety of the earth is banished. Desolation is left in the city and the gate is battered to ruins [no more protection against our enemy is left]. For thus it will be in the midst of the earth among the peoples, As the shaking of an olive tree, As the gleanings when the grape harvest is over. They raise their voices, they shout for joy; They cry out from the west concerning the majesty of Yahveh. Therefore glorify Yahveh in the east, The name of Yahveh, the God of Israel, in the coastlands of the sea. From the ends of the earth we hear songs, “Glory [glory, glory] to the Righteous One….” [HalleluYAH! In the midst of all that is being described of the Almighty’s impending, dissolving, destroying, burning up, leaving few inhabitants, there is a very important interlude. They raise their voices, they shout for joy, they proclaim the majesty of Yahveh the LORD, and they sing glory to the Righteous One! Who are they in the midst of all this? They are the righteous, redeemed elect who are left on the earth, who are rejoicing that in sovereignty, their God and Savior is doing what He had to do to the earth as in the days of Noah.] “Terror and pit and snare confront you, O inhabitant of the earth. Then it will be that he who flees the report of disaster will fall into the pit, And he who climbs out of the pit will be caught in the snare; For the windows above are opened, and the foundations of the earth shake” (Isaiah 24:10-18).

The Almighty says in Isaiah 13:13, Haggai 2:6, and Hebrews 12:26, “In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth.” Everything in the earth that can be shaken will be shaken. Only what is of Yahshua (Jesus) will remain. Yahveh’s desolation of the earth is to prepare a home for His redeemed—the blood-covered, consecrated, circumcised in heart, set-apart-as-holy-to-Yahveh people, His beloved bride. HalleluYAH!

“…This is Yahveh our God for whom we have waited; let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation” (Isaiah 25:9).

We are to be waiting, waiting, waiting—and not side tracked. We are not to be dissipated or scoffers who say, “Where is His coming, they have been talking about it for so long?” That is what happened when Moses was up on Mount Sinai and Israel said, “Oh, where is he? He has been up there for so long” and they turned to corruption and pagan, worldly preoccupations and revelry (see Exodus 32).

The psalmist says, “My soul waits for Yahveh the LORD more than the watchmen for the morning; indeed, more than the watchmen for the morning” (Psalm 130:6). We are to be watching intently and looking upward for our redemption draws near. We are to be waiting and longing.

As Apostle Paul wrote, “[Brothers and sisters], join in following my example, and observe those who walk according to the pattern you have in us. For many walk, of whom I often told you, and now tell you even weeping, that they are enemies of the cross of Messiah (Christ), whose end is destruction, whose god is their appetite, and whose glory is in their shame, who set their minds on earthly things. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Master Yahshua Messiah (Jesus Christ); who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory…” (Philippians 3:17-21). HalleluYAH, thank You, Yahveh!

Our citizenship is in heaven; we are not to keep our minds on earthly things. Time is no longer on our side, people always think we have more time to do this or that—but there is not enough of time left. It has to be redeemed. “Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time [redeeming it for His glory], because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:15-16). If we do not, we will be as the scoffers thinking, “Oh, the Savior has been gone a long time and surely we have a lot of time left. So we are going to keep our minds on earthly things and preoccupations.”

Our citizenship is in heaven and we are to be waiting on Him! We are waiting for Him and on Him, to give us instruction. Then we can be obedient to what we hear in His Word, and by His Spirit it will be done through us. We wait on Him and for Him, to transform our lowly bodies into glorified bodies in the days ahead when He comes to save those who are waiting for Him and are glorifying Him in the midst of desolation. HalleluYAH, this is joy unspeakable! For all who love this world and their lives, terror and the pit awaits them.

Let there be glory, honor, and praise to our eternal King who is coming for us, because we are waiting for Him. “For from days of old they have not heard or perceived by ear, nor has the eye seen a God besides You, who acts in behalf of the one who waits for Him” (Isaiah 64:4). “…So that you are not lacking in any gift, awaiting eagerly the revelation of our master Yahshua Messiah (Jesus Christ)” (1 Corinthians 1:7). “May the Lord [Yahveh] direct your hearts…into the patient waiting for Messiah” (2 Thessalonians 3:5 KJV).

We are to be patiently waiting for Yahshua (Jesus), enduring whatever we have to wade through. Paul says, “For momentary, light affliction [including the desolation of this earth and all the terror and pits that await its inhabitants] is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison” (2 Corinthians 4:17). “A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not approach you.You will only look on with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked. For you have made … the Most High, your dwelling place” (Psalm 91:7-9).

No evil will overtake us as long as we make Yahveh the Most High our tabernacle and abide in His presence through the blood of the Lamb. So as you wait for your God and Savior you are to “straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near” (Luke 21:28).

The book of Daniel is an accurate prophecy of the last days. What Daniel was shown made him so sick that he was appalled and knocked out from sorrow and grief. It was just too much for his earthly nature to contain. The angel told him, “Go your way, Daniel, for these words are concealed and sealed up until the end time [we are almost there]. Many will be purged, purified and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand [the ones who will praise Him and sing the song, “glory, glory to the Righteous One”, because they have wisdom, insight, and can understand what Yahveh their God is doing]. …How blessed are those who keep waiting and attains to the … end of time!” (paraphrased; see Daniel 12:9-10,12,13).

“How blessed are those who keep waiting and attain … to the end of those days.” (Daniel 12:12-13) Waiting, waiting, waiting, we must continue to not grow weary of waiting. He who is coming will come soon, “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back” (Hebrews 10:38 NIV).

Prayer:

Thank You, Yahveh (LORD), You are preparing me to stand, not only to endure to the end, but to endure so I can help others to make it, snatching them from the fires that are coming to burn up this earth. I pray to be victorious in courage and bravery and to allow You to work in and through me. Thank You, Father in Heaven, that I am in the process of working out my salvation with fear and trembling, in order to be completely dead to my flesh, that Yahshua (Jesus) is completely living, emanating, and proclaiming His love, majesty and salvation in and through me. HalleluYAH!
