In Repentance You will be Saved
Luke 13:3, Isaiah 30:15
“Now go, write it on a tablet before them and inscribe it on a scroll, that it may serve in the time to come as a witness forever. For this is a rebellious people, false sons, sons who refuse to listen to the instruction of YAHveh; who say to the seers, ‘You must not see visions’; and to the prophets, ‘You must not prophesy to us what is right, speak to us pleasant words…Let us hear no more about the Holy One of Israel.’ Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel, ‘Since you have rejected this word…therefore this iniquity will be to you like a breach about to fall, a bulge in a high wall, whose collapse comes suddenly in an instant…. For thus the Lord YAHveh, the Holy One of Israel, has said, ‘In repentance and rest you will be saved, in quietness and trust is your strength.’ But you were not willing…” (Isaiah 30:8-13,15).
“Behold, the name of YAHveh comes from a remote place; burning is His anger and dense is His smoke; His lips are filled with indignation…to shake the nations back and forth in a sieve….” The name of YAHveh will again come from afar as it did in the days of Egypt to smite all the gods and wicked people of the earth. It comes burning with indignation; but for the redeemed who have repented and are resting and trusting in the blood of YAHshua (Jesus), they “will have songs as in the night when you keep the festival, and gladness of heart as when one marches to the sound of the flute, to go to the mountain of YAHveh, to the Rock of Israel. And YAHveh will cause His voice of authority to be heard, and the descending of His arm to be seen in fierce anger, and in the flame of a consuming fire…. And every blow of the rod of punishment, which YAHveh will lay on him, will be with the music of tambourines and lyres; and in battles, brandishing weapons, He will fight them” (Isaiah 30:27-30,32).
We will be singing; we are getting ready to go into the great fulfillment of Sukkot—the feast of great rejoicing—because YAHveh will come to dwell with His people! “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. And I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from YAHveh, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, ‘Behold, the tabernacle of YAHveh is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and YAHveh Himself will be among them’” (Revelation 21:1-3). HalleluYAH! This is why this earth has to be destroyed. YAHveh is not going to dwell in the midst of an unholy, wicked, depraved people who hate Him.
The earth as we know it is in its death throes, soon to pass away. “And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” [As sure as He destroys the earth and we rejoice, we will see that these words He says are faithful and true about the New Jerusalem—the new heaven and the new earth.]
I am the Alpha and the Omega [Aleph and the Tav], the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost” (Revelation 21:5-6). “Now on the last day, the great day of the feast [Sukkot-Tabernacles], YAHshua (Jesus) stood and cried out, saying, ‘If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink’” (John 7:37). And in Revelation, “I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost” (see Revelation 22:17). Our Savior is the beginning and He is the end. He is the Reward of those who have eagerly waited for Him and have endured patiently to the end in the face of trials, tribulations, and judgments. Great perseverance will be required for the saints who hold to the Commandments of YAHveh and their testimony of YAHshua (Jesus) (see Revelation 12:17, 14:12); it will not be required for the globally religious who take the mark of the beast and who give in to the one world religion.
But as our Savior says, “Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death” (Revelation 21:7-8).
YAHshua (Jesus) will rule, reign, and manifest His life in and through those who overcome the flesh and its sinful propensities. They will praise, honor, and glorify YAHveh, advancing His kingdom—and many will be brought to salvation. But the cowardly are at the beginning of the list of those who do not go in. They are too cowardly to have faith in YAHveh and to lay down their lives as sacrifices unto death.
How do we overcome? “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Messiah have come…” (Revelation 12:10). He has given us power and authority. It is given to us to use against the enemy of our souls and our flesh. “…for the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death” (Revelation 12:11).
