Search for Me & You Will Find Me
Jeremiah 29:13
“Thus says YAHveh (the LORD), “Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am YAHveh who exercises lovingkindness, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things,” declares YAHveh”(Jeremiah 9:24).
YAHshua (Jesus) the Son of the Most High God came to earth “to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10 niv). With His holy countenance, He is searching for those who are compelled within their hearts to seek for Him with all their heart, for “He is the rewarder of those who earnestly seek Him”(Hebrews 11:6). “You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13).
Our relationship with the Savior is a divinely appointed union predestined before the foundations of the earth. “He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him” (Ephesians1:4). “YAHveh knows those who are His” (2 Timothy 2:19) and He sent His Son to ransom and redeem them. YAHveh will rescue and save from wrath those who are truly His—the righteous ones who have left this world, with its cares, love, lusts, greeds, and desires, and have confessed their sins because they know they have fallen short of the glory and holiness of the Most High.
Prayer: Father, You are a holy God and I thank You that You sent Your Son to search for me and that you put it in my heart to search for You. I thank You with all my heart that You have rewarded me with Your Son’s love that compelled Him to die on the tree of Calvary and ransomed and redeem me from the wages of my sins that lead to eternal death. Thank You for YAHshua’s (Jesus’s) precious blood that forgives and cleanses me of my confessed sins and clothes me in the undeserved righteousness of Your holy Son. YAHshua took my sins upon Him and gave me His righteousness that I might live in Your presence and be seen as holy in Your sight. I want to know and understand You for You truly are my heart’s desire and I long to worship You in spirit and in truth.
