Give YAHveh His Due, Glorify His Name!
- A Prayer of Repentance -
“The way of the upright is level.” (Isaiah 26:7) May we walk on those level paths as we flee from this world, including it’s tainted religious doctrines, of which we have all partaken, that we can partake of the delicacies of His word, His pure banqueting table. Surely the day is coming, like James said, “let your laughter be turned into mourning .” Those who call themselves Christians and do what the world does and give half of a heart to Him and half of a heart to the world are arrogant. “Did Yahveh (the LORD) really say that?” It is like the Garden of Eden all over again, “YES, He said that!” He says, “Follow My ways.” When you know you have sinned, the blood is on the altar. That is what He is calling us to, repentance.
“We have all sinned and fallen short of His glory.” (Romans 3:23) He is calling us to humble ourselves that He might lift us up. To be cleansed by the blood and to be taught of Him in His presence. “All the arrogant and every evil doer will be stubble and that day that is coming will set them on fire,” says Yahveh Almighty. (Malachi 4:1) Peter talked about this in his word, “a fire is going to come that is going to burn up the earth.” (2 Peter 3:7) Many prophets of old talked about the consuming fire that is coming to destroy the earth and the inhabitants therein because they broke faith and they broke obedience to Yahveh God, to His covenant, and His commandments. IT IS COMING not a root or a branch will be left!
“But for you, the remnant, who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings and you will go out like a calf released from the stall.” This will be joy unspeakable and full of glory. “Then you will trample down the wicked, they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I do these things,” says Yahveh Almighty. “Remember the Torah, the law of my servant Moses, the decrees and commands I gave him at Horeb. See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before the great and dreadful day of Yahveh (the LORD) and He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers or else I will come and strike the land with a curse.” (Malachi 4:2-6) The spirit of Elijah is going forth. Yahshua (Jesus) said, “surely Elijah will come to restore all things.” He will come to restore the remnant to the pure uncompromised worship and obedience to Yahveh Almighty. We are in that day.
The warning is coming, a merciful warning. This is mercy. He sends the prophetic warning before He brings judgment, giving His people time to repent. He gave Israel time to get the blood over their houses. He is giving us opportunity to repent and to see how far we have fallen short of His glory and to apply the blood over our repentant hearts and to walk in obedience.
HalleluYAH! HalleluYAH! Praise be to Yahveh! “He reveals all of His plans ahead of time to His servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7) All the prophets of old knew of this day. We are most probably the generation that are going to see all the prophet’s words fulfilled. The earth will be burned up, the inhabitants will be destroyed and the righteous remnant will enter into the New Jerusalem, the Messianic Kingdom to come. They will serve Yahveh and they will glorify Him with the elders, the angels and the host of heaven, crying out, Kadosh! Kadosh! Kadosh! Holy, Holy, Holy, is Yahveh Almighty, who will not fear, who will not glorify.
Prayer
You have spoken and I have heard-You have opened my ears. Father in heaven, I pray that there is not any part of me that is stiff necked and would rebel against Your word. I pray that in mercy You will convict me by Your Spirit of my sin, Your righteousness, and Your judgments that are coming. Father in heaven I have transgressed, I have not given You the praise and the honor and the glory that is due Your name. Satan’s robbing schemes, have manifested through me, I have inadvertently robbed You of that which is Your due, all the praise, honor, and glory from all of my heart that loves You. Have mercy Yahveh, Holy One. I thank You for the mercy, it is there, it is available, it is on the mercy seat, It is the blood of the Lamb! The Blood of Yahshua (Jesus)!
Your mercy is there ready to be applied to my humble and contrite heart that is trembling at Your word. I praise You Yahveh (LORD) for Your love. Your mercy endures forever and those who do Your will, live forever. Oh, move by Your Spirit Holy One of Israel, Mighty King, Yahveh and Yahshua my Redeemer. I bow before You, the King of Glory, as the elders, winged creatures, and angels fall prostrate on their faces before You. I pray You bring my heart to a place of such utmost humility before You. Lay my heart bear, search my heart, show me how I have robbed You of the praise, honor, and glory. I have not had the fear of You which would have given me wisdom to wholeheartedly obey You. I have shared my affections with others, with other things, I have robbed You of that which is Your due. Convict me, that true repentance, a gift from You, will be granted to my heart. You see my heart, You see the arrogance that can rise up, when I sniff and turn up my nose at the truth and You see when my heart is humble and convicted with a loving fear of You longing to know You, to walk in Your ways.
It is by Your Spirit that You teach me. Only by Your Spirit through Your word do You lead me into all truth and the truth sets me free that I might ascend into Your presence - Your Holy mountain, to worship You in spirit and in truth, which is Your due. May my heart be seen before You. I pray that there is no arrogance in my heart that will be as stubble to be burned in the fire. May all my self justifications, selfish ambitions, self centeredness, be laid bare. May it burn up now, not later while it is in me and I burn up with it. I put it on the altar to be burned up before You as an acceptable sacrifice. Father in heaven, I know this is so serious.
Surely the day is coming and it will burn, and all the evildoers and those who stiffen their neck, close their ears, and go their own way will be burned. A fire that no one will be able to quench. Make a fire in my heart, a zeal for You that will consume me with a desire to please You and to walk in righteousness. Self centeredness, concern of how I would appear to others, and self deception, vanish it I pray, as I recognize it as sin and You cleanse it with Your blood. Father in Heaven, may I put on the altar that which You show me. I ask You to search my heart, to create in me a pure heart, renewing a steadfast spirit within me. Steadfast, set like flint, to die to my flesh, as Yahshua (Jesus) went like flint to die in Jerusalem, to be crucified. May I be set like flint to die to my flesh, which leads me into eternal destruction, so that I would live by Your Spirit.
“Who will not fear You?” I pray You will put the fear of You in me, Holy One of Israel, Mighty King of Glory, Yahveh Almighty is Your name. May the fear of You, the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10), wisdom that is greater in value than any pearls, jewels, diamonds, or rubies, be given to me. May I be part of those who fear You and glorify Your name.
I know there is a world out there that rejoices, they serve the prince of this world, but their joy will be short lived. “Who knows the power of Your anger? For Your wrath is as great as the fear that is due You. Teach me to number my days aright, that I may gain a heart of wisdom.” (Psalm 90:11-12) “It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of You, the living God” (Hebrews 10:31). May the blood of Yahshua (Jesus) wash me clean as I humbly acknowledge my sins before You.
My heart overflow with joy unspeakable and full of glory because of Your forgiveness and Your presence abiding in my midst. Work with me continually, as I work out my salvation now, with fear and trembling. HalleluYAH! I have looked in a mirror at Your incomparable word, may I not walk away and forget what I have heard.
