Now is the Day of Salvation
- 2 Corinthians 6:2 -

Yahshua (Jesus) says, “Be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap; for it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth. But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:34-36). Apostle Peter urges us saying, “The end of all things is near, therefore be alert and self controlled that you may pray” (1Peter 4:7).

The word dissipation means the unimportant and useless distractions and expenditures of one’s time and energies. Yahshua (Jesus) cautioned us to be on guard so we would not be foolishly preoccupied with the earthly cares and concerns of life. Rather we are to yield ourselves to Him and be led by the Holy Spirit to make wise eternal investments of our life, gifts, time, energy, and money. If we continually stay distracted and desirous for the world and its enticements, we are allowing ourselves to be “weighted down by dissipation,” and that day will come suddenly, unexpectedly, and horrifyingly. The door into Heaven will be forever closed in our face, and the Savior our Bridegroom will say, “I do not know you, away from me” (Matthew 7:23 NIV). “You hypocrites!…“‘[You] honor me with [your] lips, but [your] hearts are far from me (desiring the treasures and friendship of this passing world). [You] worship me in vain; [your] teachings are merely human rules’”(Matthew 15:7-9). “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter” (Matthew 7:21).

Apostle Paul warned, “Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men (and women) but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord (Yahshua/Jesus) is” (Ephesians 5:15-17). We must be prayerfully careful to guard against dissipation, always seeking and obeying the perfect will of the Holy One who says, “As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts (fleshy desires) which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior;…” (1Peter1:14-16).
Apostle Paul exhorted us, “For this you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure or covetous person, who is an idolator, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ (Messiah) and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the the wrath of (Yahveh) God comes upon the sons (children) of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them; for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord Yahshua (Jesus); walk as children of the Light (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth), trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them.” (Ephesians 5:5-11) We must understand this, “without holiness no one will see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14).
“No holiness no heaven! So many never give a moment of thought to eternity, but eternity is a long time without end!” ”
No holiness no heaven! May we wake up, straighten up, look up, and invest our lives upward. These are the last hours, NOW is the time to flee the enticements and friendships of this world or we will find ourselves in rebellion against our Creator and Savior. We are to be wise stewards with the gift of our lives. "For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ (Messiah), so that each one may receive what is due for what he (she) has done in the body, whether good (by the Holy Spirit) or evil (by the worldly flesh)” (2Corinthians 5:10).
It’s time to prayerfully reassess our lives in the bright light of Truth and to be led by the Holy Spirit to wisely invest the treasure of our lives. The Savior said, “where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” (Matthew 6:21). Satan, “the prince of this world” is powerfully dragging his deceived and seduced captives down, down, down into the eternal darkness and unquenchable fires of the horrifying “under world” reserved for him—“the Ancient Serpent”, the fallen angels, demons, and the masses of rebellious humanity. The deceived rebellious masses have not loved and obeyed the Most High God and His Son, and are not humbly repentant for sin and therefore not covered with the saving blood of Yahshua (Jesus), the Lamb of God. Most people never give a moment of thought about eternity, but eternity is a long time without end! Lip service and double mindedness must be repented for. The Almighty Heavenly Father is beseeching us to make righteous choices and to truly surrender and commit our lives to His Son, our Redeemer.

We must stop looking to this world for fulfillment. Those who truly love our Savior will obediently turn our backs and flee this dark dying world in order to face and follow our Good Shepherd. Yahshua (Jesus) is urgently leading His called, chosen, and faithful redeemed little flock onward and upward on the brightly lit “narrow path”. Through our sincere repentance and His cleansing blood we will enter into His glorious Heavenly Kingdom. His word speaks loudly, “Strive to enter through the narrow door (and narrow path) for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able to” (Luke 13: 24). Dear ones, He speaks to all who will listen and obey, “In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you. Behold now is the day of salvation.” Therefore as the Holy Spirit says, “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the day of rebellion,…” (2Corinthians 6:2 and Hebrews 3:7-8). “Therefore my dear friends,…continue to work out your salvation with reverential fear and trembling. For it is Yahveh God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure” (Philippians 2:12-13).
This is no time to waiver between two opinions, these are life and death decisions. Choose wisely the results are irreversibly forever!
PRAYER
My Father, I know that the hour is very late, it’s close to midnight and I want to live my life in loving obedience to You. Please help me to truly be part of that redeemed sold out remnant who are like the wise virgins, forsaking this present world to truly follow You, my Master and Bridegroom. Yahshua (Jesus) forgive me for being double minded and not being totally dedicated to building an intimate everlasting relationship with You, my Savior. I ask You to mercifully forgive, cleanse, and cover my sins with Your sacrificial holy blood. Please deliver me from all bondages and everything of my flesh and the enticements of the world that ensnare me and grieve Your Holy Spirit. I want to have all my hope, peace, joy, and treasures transferred from this dark world and invested above in the Kingdom of Heaven. Father, thank You for giving Your Son to die in my place that I might live eternally as Your redeemed righteous child. May Your Holy Spirit teach me to be wholeheartedly busy about my Father’s heavenly business. Please keep me spiritually alert, awake, and diligently filling up with the oil of the Spirit. May it overflow the lamp of my devoted heart, preparing me to be ready, waiting, and wise for my soon coming Redeemer Bridegroom. I pray for Your righteous kingdom to come and Your will to be done, in and through my born again life, here on earth as it is in Heaven. Thank You for Your utmost loving kindness and undeserved mercy and grace. In the Name of Yahshua (Jesus) I humbly yield and pray.
