Only a Remnant Will Be Saved

Only a Remnant Will Be Saved

Luke 13:23-24

Apostle Paul said, “We are not to be unaware of the enemy’s schemes and we are to be as wise as serpents and as gentle as doves” (see 2 Corinthians 2:11, Matthew 10:16). One of the reasons we are to be as wise as serpents is to recognize what the “ancient serpent’ is up to in his unfolding diabolical agenda for this earth (Revelation 20:2). “It was also given to him [the enemy] to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him” (Revelation 13:7). Although Satan is vying for world leadership of this world and will have it for a few years, ultimately, our Savior will be the victor and all the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of Yahshua (Jesus) and we will reign with Him forever and ever, halleluYAH- meaning Praise be to YAHveh! (Revelation 11:15)

Our God and Savior is the Aleph and the Tav—the beginning and the end. So anyone in their right mind, which is being in the “mind of Yahshua (Jesus)” (1 Corinthians 2:16), will not want to hold on to anything in this world that is being taken over by Satan and all his cohorts. Although Satan is going to rule for a very short time he will ultimately see the prophetic fulfillment of the Almighty’s words that spelled out his doom in the Garden of Eden. “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise him on the heel" (Genesis 3:15).

The remnant, “the called, chosen, and faithful” elect are the ones who have continually counted the cost to forsake everything (even their own lives) to follow Him”
— Revelation 17:14

As mentioned the prophet’s words have been given to keep us on the “narrow path” following our Redeemer who is the light of truth (Matthew 7:13-14, 1 John 1:7). The Spirit keeps us “sober minded and self controlled as we pray” and “work out our salvation” as a “bride getting ready for her Bridegroom” (1 Peter 4:7, Philippians 2:12, Revelation 19:7). Yahshua (Jesus) said, “Many are called, but few are chosen" (Matthew 22:14). The remnant, “the called, chosen, and faithful” elect are the ones who have continually counted the cost to forsake everything (even their own lives) to follow Him (Revelation 17:14). It is a sad reality for the “multitudes” who feel they are going to enter the kingdom, but will not. Our Savior made this very clear over and over again.

Our God and Savior “does not change.” (Malachi 3:6) The enemy of our souls does not change, and Yahveh’s called out people, beginning with Israel are all very similar. Many of them “profess Him with their lips but their hearts are far from Him” (Matthew 15:8) and they prefer the broad path, including man-made doctrines and traditions that make life comfortable and enjoyable on earth rather than forsaking that and being “crucified to their flesh and to the world” by “going outside the camp with Yahshua (Jesus) to suffer with Him” (Luke 9:23, Galatians 6:14, Hebrews 13:13).

The words of Jeremiah cried out to Israel, the Almighty’s people of old, and to the redeemed elect now, “To whom shall I speak and give warning That they may hear? Behold, their ears are closed and they cannot listen. Behold, the word of Yahveh (the Lord) has become a reproach to them; They have no delight in it” (Jeremiah 6:10). “Hear, O earth: behold, I am bringing disaster on this people, The fruit of their plans, because they have not listened to My words and as for My law [Commandments], they have rejected it also” (Jeremiah 6:19).

May I take a little liberty at this point to digress from the pure stream of the glorious written word of our Savior, and share with you a dream He gave me that is like a prophetic parable. We know in the last days it will be common as Yahveh (the LORD) said, “I have also spoken to the prophets, and I gave numerous visions, and through the prophets I gave parables” (Hosea 12:10). "It will come about after this that I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; and your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions” (Joel 2:28).

In this dream I am standing on the ground looking at the biggest jet I have ever seen. It was filled up to overflowing with happy, joy-filled, giggling, carefree people thinking they are going to get taken up supernaturally on this mammoth jet to escape when the judgment comes. I was just standing there looking when all of a sudden the ground began to shake and a violent volcanic eruption began to take place spewing out molten lava red as fire pouring onto the earth.

As I began to run because the lava was coming in like a tidal wave, my Master Yahshua (Jesus) spoke to my heart saying, “That big plane is not going anywhere, it is not going to take off.” He said, “keep on running, they think they are going somewhere, but it is not moving, it is not going to leave this earth.” Running quickly to escape the molten lava, I saw a small prop-jet and a man standing at the top. His arm reached out from it, so I ran up the stairs and the arm pulled me inside.

Our Savior said, "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Master, Master (Lord, Lord),' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Master, Master, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’” (Matthew 7:21-23)

That little tiny prop-jet took off as judgment was literally on my heels. The large plane remained on the runway with the masses that had been rejoicing. They were erroneously taught that they would be taken off the earth and would not experience any tribulation judgment. Meanwhile, the stench of their flesh had not been dealt with and like the Laodicean church, 'Because you say, "I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing," and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see.” (Revelation 3:17-18) If they do not become zealous and repent, Yahveh (the LORD) is going to spew them out of His mouth (Revelation 3:16).

As Yahshua (Jesus) said, the multitudes are not the ones who are going in. One of His disciples said to Him, “Master, are there just a few who are being saved?” And He said to them, “Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, ‘Master, open up to us!’ then He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from…depart from Me, all you evildoers.’ In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of Yahveh (God), but yourselves being thrown out’” (Luke 13:23-28).

If you know and love your Savior you will be prepared with your heart and mind fixed on things above—namely your coming Bridegroom King and His righteous Kingdom—then like a spotless bride in waiting, the world’s judgment is one of the shouts from the Bridegroom that He is on His way!
