Feed My Sheep
John 21:17
YAHshua (Jesus) asks, “Do you love Me?” Then He tells us to feed His sheep, for many of the shepherds out there are senseless they lead His sheep astray. Savage wolves have come in to devour, and the shepherds are as senseless hirelings (see Acts 20:29). These are shepherds who love being shepherds for one reason: they like the pay. They could care less about the direction the sheep are going. They take the sheep where they want to go, saying, “If they want to hear this message, I will give it to them, because if their flesh is happy, I, as a hireling shepherd, will have my flesh happy.”
But if you love Him truly, you will feed His sheep truly. YAHveh has given us food, YAHshua, the bread of life, the manna from heaven. He has given us a pure drink, the living water from His very throne room that causes everything it comes into contact with to thrive and grow, making more life instead of being like the waters in Elisha’s days. Those waters were polluted and everything that touched it miscarried. The life of righteousness was not propagated, the waters caused unrighteousness, and they caused a miscarrying, a distortion, a deformity, and a stillborn.
YAHveh (the LORD) wants righteousness birthed on the face of the earth so He will be glorified by a righteous remnant. For He is the Righteous One and the kingdom will be called the Home of Righteousness. It is not called the home of Christians, it is not called the home of churchgoers, and it is not even called the home of the born again. It is called the Home of Righteousness, and there is no righteousness apart from the Righteous One.
YAHveh brings about righteousness when we put aside, and beat back our flesh. We must say, “No! You’re dead, flesh. I’m not to live, YAHshua is to live! I have been purchased with the price that is beyond any riches, any wealth, anything that my heart can conceive. I have been purchased with the incomparable blood of YAHshua (Jesus) and that purchase of me is for one thing: that He take full charge, full control of all that I am, all that He is in me, and all that He has invested in me.” We were created since before the foundations of the earth to be holy and righteous.
But there remains a battle; and the enemy says, “I will do everything in my power to make sure that I defile you, taint you, stop you in your holy tracks and pilgrimage, and get you off course.” Paul gives us hope, though, saying, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness…” (2 Timothy 4:7-8). A crown of righteousness is waiting for those who persevere in doing the will of YAHveh.
