“Do not Forget the Covenant of YAHveh your God”
Deuteronomy 4:23
The children of Israel “came near and stood at the foot of the mountain, and the mountain burned with fire…. Then Yahveh spoke to [them] from the midst of the fire; [they] heard the sound of words, but [they] saw no form—only a voice” (Deuteronomy 4:12). Th Holy One’s full form we will not see until we see Him face to face, but we can hear His voice directing us through His word. This is the only place to find truth on this dark, dying, doomed, earth. “So [Yahveh] declared to [them] His covenant which He commanded [them] to perform, that is, the Ten Commandments; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone” (Deuteronomy 4:13).
Yahshua (Jesus) in essence said, “I did not come to abolish the Commandments but to fulfill them by writing them on the hearts of My called-out, chosen, blood-redeemed elect. Their hearts are soft enough that I can engrave My Father’s Commandments on them and by My Spirit in them will teach them to uphold them. I will continue to uphold My Commandments through My people in whom I live as King, in the holy temple of their hearts.” HalleluYAH!
“Sin is lawlessness, breaking the Commandments of Yahveh”
“Yahveh commanded me [Moses] at that time to teach you [the children of Israel] statutes and judgments [the judgments that are coming], that you might perform them in the land where you are going over to possess it. So watch yourselves carefully … so that you do not act corruptly [and make any form of anything or any person]. …So watch yourselves, that you do not forget the covenant of Yahveh your God which He made with you” [the covenant is the Ten Commandments]…. For Yahveh your Elohim (God) is a consuming fire, a jealous God” (Deuteronomy 4:14-16, 23-24). It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God, as we read in Hebrews, for those who continue to sin. Sin is lawlessness, breaking the Commandments of Yahveh (1 John 3:4).
“When you become the father of children and children’s children and have remained long in the land, and act corruptly, and make an idol in the form of anything, and do that which is evil in the sight of Yahveh your God so as to provoke Him to anger, I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that you will surely perish quickly from the land [the Promised Land] where you are going to posses it. …Yahveh will scatter you… [and we know as He scattered Israel we can be scattered away from Him]. But from there you will seek Yahveh your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul. When you are in distress and all these things have come upon you, in the latter days you will return to Yahveh your God and listen to His voice.” (Deuteronomy 4:25-27,29-30)
Deuteronomy 28 speaks of Yahveh’s blessings and curses (verses 1-14 blessings, 15-68 curses). The blessings are much shorter than the list of curses. Our blessings are great down here, but they pale in comparison to the kingdom. Our storehouse and treasures are in heaven. Yahveh is speaking to us in these last hours to take our investments, our assets, and put them into the kingdom where nothing will destroy them—when everything is going to be destroyed down here.
PRAYER
Thank You Father in heaven for preparing us for the events that are soon to take place and for the preparation that requires a fresh and new anointing. May we pray, in the name of Yahshua HaMashiach (Jesus th Messiah), that a new mighty mantle and anointing will fall from heaven. Breathe by the power of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) into each one of Your blood-redeemed children. May this fresh, new, and powerful anointing do a powerful work to sever us from everything that is still causing us to cling to this earth and to look to any hope in this earth. Yahveh, You are literally cutting it loose and setting us free from the dissipation and deception of a deceptive world system that holds nothing but lies and destruction.
May we quickly take our focus, talents, and all You have given to us and invest them into Your kingdom. Show us how to do that, Father. We do not even know what that really means. But we are asking You for a new and powerful anointing that is going to literally separate us from this carnal nature, giving a death blow to our carnal self. Then we can live freely, move freely, and think freely in the kingdom of Yahveh, which is righteousness, truth, and peace. HalleluYAH! (Romans 14:17)
