Return to Yahveh Your God
It is Not Too Late
“The secret things belong to Yahveh, but the things revealed belong to us and to our [children] forever, that we may observe all the words of this law” (Deuteronomy 29:29). That which is not revealed to us, we are not held accountable for. What He reveals to us is given so that we and our children can be obedient and follow the words of His Commandments, decrees, and precepts.
Israel was dispersed among the nations, and we can be spiritually dispersed from the Almighty’s presence as if we were on one end of the earth and He was on the other, because our sins separate us from Him. Those who are in rebellion, who do not walk in His ways, are dispersed from His presence. “So it shall be when all of these things have come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and you call them to mind in all nations where Yahveh your Elohim (God) has banished you, and you return to Yahveh your God and obey Him with all your heart and soul according to all that I command you today, you and your sons, then Yahveh your God will restore you from captivity (restore your fortunes), and have compassion on you, and will gather you again from all the peoples where Yahveh your God has scattered you.” (Deuteronomy 30:1-3)
It is not too late to turn back, but we have to return to Him with all of our hearts. “If your outcasts [banished ones] are at the end of the earth, from there the Lord your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you back. …Moreover Yahveh (the Lord) your God will circumcise your heart and the hearts of your descendants, to love YAHveh your God with all your heart and with all your soul, so that you may live. The Lord your God will inflict all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecuted you. And you shall again obey Yahveh, and observe all His commandments, which I command you today. …If you obey Yahveh your God to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the Torah (Law), if you turn to Yahveh your God with all your heart and soul. For this commandment which I command you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it out of reach.” (Deuteronomy 30:4,6-8,10-11)
Our enemy has said this is too difficult. Our flesh says, “There are things I want, inclinations in my heart, desires, goals, and ambitions, it is too difficult.” This is why the masses of disciples departed from Yahshua (Jesus), and only a few were left (John 6:66). We have to get rid of the things that make it too difficult for us. How much easier can it be, if we truly have faith in His power and Spirit of grace dwelling in us, that He will give us all we need to turn our whole hearts and lives into His care?
