Breaking the Pulls against Truth
Yahveh’s (the Lord’s) people will give glory to Him, they will live to glorify Him, not themselves. Yahshua (Jesus) says, “He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but he who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him” (John 7:18). Only truth will lead a person to bring glory to the Author of Truth. May truth rule and reign in our lives and in our hearts. May the truth set all of us free from the pull of this world that has every each of us in one way or another enticed, distracted, or deceived. May that pull against the truth be broken by the power of YAHshua who came to set us free.
Our Savior is “the way and the truth and the life” (John 14:6) and He is setting us free. He has to set us free in order for us to be motivated to escape what is about to come upon the face of the earth and all the wicked therein, all those who do evil and all those who cause others to do evil. The Son comes to destroy the works of the Evil One so that we have a chance, an opportunity given from above, to escape what is justly coming to those who find a love not for the truth, but for the things of this world and who do not glorify the Author and Creator of this world (1 John 3:8).
We must be free to move; we must be free to run for our lives to escape the judgment to come. We have to be free; we cannot be ensnared. We have to run for our lives into His holy Presence.
