We Must Walk in the Truth
We must walk in the truth on paths of righteousness that come from knowing the Righteous One and His Word. Although we start out with sincere hearts, as someone starts out on a journey, we must not veer a little too much to the right or to the left. Although we are in sincerity wanting to reach our destination, if we take a slight veer, we end up so far away from our desired destination; so far away from the Presence of the Most High Yahveh and His Son Yahshua (Jesus). We do not want to end up far away from Him. We want to end up in His Presence. The blood of the Lamb was poured out to redeem us to be a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9). We are to believe in Him, His name, and confess our sins and walk in righteousness according to His Word. If we commit to obeying Him, to be in covenant relationship with Him, then we can be a holy priesthood who has access into His Presence.
The Almighty spoke through His prophets and He told them to tell Israel, “When you come to appear before Me, who requires of you this trampling of My courts?” (Isaiah 1:12) In other words, tell them to stop coming in and out of My Presence bringing all this common, profane, worldly religious baggage with them. Tell them to stop praying to Me with all this compromise because it is a stench in My nostrils.
“The “religious system” is part of Satan’s masterpiece””
He is masterful at creating unholy mixtures. When something is pure it remains pure until something impure enters it. Suppose you took glass of milk, and you dropped the tiniest portion of ink into it, so insignificant you can barely see it. Now the milk is no longer pure, it is tainted. It is not fit for consumption. But out of naivety, if someone handed it to us, and if we did not look at it carefully, we would just say, “Well, it’s a different brand of milk than I’m used to, but I’m sure it’s fine.” No, friend, what the Enemy has done is not fine. He has sown seeds of error, human doctrines and traditions, and polluted the pure harvest field of Yahveh (the LORD).
What we need to be concerned about is making sure the seeds of deception are not so rooted in our hearts that we have religious pride, as the Pharisees of old, that Yahshua (Jesus) was so adamant against. He said to them, “Rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far away from Me’” (Mark 7:6). Yahshua (Jesus) is asking us, “Do you really want the truth? Do you love your religious traditions more than you love the uncompromised word of My Father?” At the close of this age, Yahveh says through our Messiah Yahshua, “For nothing is hidden that will not become evident, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light” (Luke 8:17).
“Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of Yahveh; and that He may send Yahshua (Jesus), the Messiah appointed for you, whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things…” (Acts 3:19-21). The Almighty’s remnant is dedicated to the restoration and rebuilding of the ancient foundations of pure, uncompromised biblical truths, Old and New Testaments, both as one book whose author is Yahveh the Holy One of Israel who inspired the prophets, apostles, and disciples. He sent His Son, the Living Word, Yahveh Himself, to come to this earth, to magnify Himself and His truths because the truth will set us free. HalleluYAH!
“A religious system that is not solely based on the truth is a camouflaged snare and trap of the enemy””
It is a ploy of deception. “[Satan] was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies” (John 8:44). “The great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world…the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time” (Revelation 12:9,12). “For false Messiahs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect” (Matthew 24:24). To deceive all who could be deceived. Beloved, we are at the last hour: “The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment [clearheaded] and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer” (1 Peter 4:7). Clearheaded or clear minded means that our thoughts, the thoughts of man, and the thoughts of a “religious system” are taken captive to the obedience of Yahshua (Jesus). That the very mind and thoughts as magnified through the written Word would become as priestly turbans on our heads so that we would walk not in a way that seems right to us or our “religious systems” that have been permeated with error. “There is a way that appears right to be right, but in the end it leads to death” (Proverbs 14:12) because it is not Yahveh’s way.
Are you willing to count the cost? Yahshua (Jesus) says we have to count the cost to follow Him. It is not just: I am a believer, I go to church; I have prayer meetings; I do this, I do that—our Savior was very clear about the masses who would say, “Lord, Lord” in the last days, that His response will be, “Away from Me you hypocrite, you evildoer, I do not know who you are or where you come from—you are not doing the will of My Father because you practice lawlessness” (referencing Matthew 7:21-23).
We practice lawlessness, which means breaking His Father’s Commandments because we have not exalted or esteemed the holy words of Yahveh from the Old Testament as well as their fulfillment and magnification in the New. “Thus invalidating the word of God by your tradition which you have handed down…” (Mark 7:13). Yahshua (Jesus) goes on to warn His disciples, be aware of the yeast of the religious leaders, and beware of their religious self-righteous pride and hypocrisy. Beware!
It is time to wake up as Paul says, we are to wake up, wake up, rise from spiritual death, rise from our spiritual stupor that comes because we are ingesting and imbibing impurities in your religious worship. It is not pure spiritual worship in the truth of Yahveh’s (the LORD’S) Word. Wake up and let Yahshua Messiah shine upon you, because He rejoices in You because you have sought Him. You have sought truth at all cost and you have come out of this world, including its tainted religious system. You desire to worship Him and bring Him offerings in righteousness as in the days of old. Be blessed to seek Him and to find Him, in Yahshua’s name. HalleluYAH!
