YAHshua’s Compassion Equals Action
May boldness and courage rise up in you. In the book of Revelation, we find listed all those who will not enter the New Jerusalem, the Messianic kingdom. At the top of the list in Revelation 21 is the cowardly. Fear and trembling should beset you my brother or sister, fear and trembling of a holy God who said those who overcome will inherit all the blessings promised, but the cowardly will go into the burning sulfur—the fiery lake that is the second death.
“Don’t be deceived—whatever you sow, you will you reap” (Galatians 6:7-9). What are you sowing? Are you sowing in this world that is doomed to destruction? Or are you sowing in His harvest field that is ripe (see John 4:35). Right now there are multitudes going into eternal darkness, they are waiting for someone like you, like me, who says, “Here am I, send me” (Isaiah 6:8). Will you open your mouth and hold forth the word of truth? Will you seek Him in prayer, as you humble yourself in His sight, asking Him to fill you up with His Holy Spirit that it might flow out of the abundance of your heart with words that will set the captive free?
Many are dressed in pride and self-righteousness and don’t want anyone to know their hurt and pain. Yahveh is calling to you to be sensitive with a compassionate heart, as Yahshua (Jesus) the Great Shepherd looks with compassion on the sheep who have no shepherd. Compassion is the very love of the Savior flowing out of you, moving you to action, moving you to a place where you cast aside the fear of people’s rejection, the love of people’s approval, and all self-consciousness. His compassion is going to reach out to the lost sheep and lead them. Don’t make blockades—make highways. Make the most of every opportunity in your daily walk moment by moment, in season and out.
