Overcomers

We are in the very last days, no one knows the day or the hour, but we have the signs of the time. It is obvious, even to those who are not eternally saved, that the world, as we know it, is on its last legs. We have the responsibility to “redeem the time, for the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:16). We are told in Revelation that the devil has been thrown down to the earth and he knows his time is short. In Revelation 12:11 we have a key to our overcoming. This key not only blesses us but it allows the great commission to be accelerated and perpetuated through us. It says, “And they overcame him [the devil] because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.” These three biblical truths are keys for us to whom the great commission has been given.

We are to be overcomers by the blood of YAHshua (Jesus) who forgives us and cleanses us of our wrong doings. He gives us His righteousness to go forth in holiness before YAHveh who is holy. We overcome by the word of our testimony. When we speak truth, and speak it to those who are perishing, the fullest measure of YAHveh’s life through YAHshua is being magnified through us. Each of us has a testimony. The blind man had a short but powerful testimony. He said, “One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!" (John 9:25). My friend, there is no excuse for you and me not to obey and make the most of every opportunity everywhere we set our feet. His word says that “the footsteps of the righteous are ordered” (Psalm 37:23).

When you daily sit at His feet, filling up with His Spirit, reading His word, and praying fervently to Him, then you are filled to overflowing with YAHshua’s (Jesus’s) presence. It is as a river of life that wants and must flow through you to bring His life through your testimony and His word to others. You have got to reach that point where you do not love your life so much as to shrink from death. Death has to be at work in us moment by moment. We are to choose every moment: Who are the people going to see? Who are they going to hear from? Whose words are going to come forth, mine or YAHshua’s? Am I going to bring them idle chatter, or am I going to bring them eternal words of life? Those are decisions we must make constantly and continually; and let us not be deceived, YAHveh says that whatever we sow we will reap. If we sow according to the flesh, doing things our way and not His, we will reap destruction. But the one who in obedience heeds and harkens to the word of YAHshua (Jesus), sowing to the Spirit, that person will reap eternal life and eternal blessings! (refers to Galatians 6:7)
